Teres Veho Limin Beach Cafe and Stand Up Paddle
Reviewed April 24, 2017

I do not find this place a please to eat when there are many unleashed dogs begging for your food while you try to eat. I was there for private event and the dogs were out of control and upon leaving one of the pits went after me and bit me hard on the ankle drawing blood. This has been reported to the VIPD. Please owners of this restaurant get rid of some of this unleashed animals or leash them. Never going back.! Disgusting.

Stopped there for lunch on two occasions last week. Awesome rice bowls! Friendly and laid back. Beautiful beach views, and fabulous bartenders who make a great Painkiller!!!

Not sure why this is listed in Things to Do, not Places to Eat, but do yourself a favor and stop here for lunch and enjoy the beach while you're at it. Bill, who organizes the dive shop, is very friendly and will explain the discounts if you rent a beach chair/umbrella. The food is very good and the service is pleasant. We've been here twice this week and have found the drinks are good, but it depends on the bartender, some are better than others. You can rent snorkel gear, but the snorkeling is way better at the pier or further south at Sandcastle.
This is NOT Rainbow Beach, but technically LaGrange beach, which doesn't really appear on most guide books. It is the closest beach north of the Fredriksted Fort and the cruise ship pier. When a ship is in the beach is VERY crowded because it's so close to where they tie up.
There is no fee to use the beach, but an umbrella and two lounge chairs are $20, including the fresh water shower. if you bring your own chair or towel, there's no charge.

It has the makings of an exceptional place! The decor and the location is perfect all with the perfect assortment of dogs hanging out along the walkways. The porch is great, there aren't speakers out there though so the people noise wrecks the ambiance...at least when you're waiting for a beer.
Maybe it was just our night but service was way too slow. Saturday night and 2 servers just didn't quite cut it. Granted, it's off season but they were still packed.
That said, the food was spot on! Nachos were overloaded and the burgers were insane! Fresh and flavorful and huge portions, the burger is best approached with a knife and fork.

Teres Veho (Freedom City Surf), Sand Bar, whatever you want to call it...this is a MUST DO for us each time we venture out to the west end of the island. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is relaxing and at the same time, there is so much to do that you can't possibly be bored!

The staff is always friendly and attentive, and there is even a little play table for the kids while you wait for food. My favorite thing to eat there is the Big Kahuna Wrap with chicken. However, the tacos are great, the nachos are great. Quite frankly, the food is pretty darn great!

The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is that the drink prices are slightly higher than elsewhere on island, and they come in a pretty small cup :/ But seriously, that is my *only* negative about Teres Veho.

Other Greats:
*Skateboard ramp
*Paddleboard rentals
*Beach combing (sea glass & chaney)
*Giant snow cones! (you can even add rum!)
*snorkeling

Noteworthy:
*wear/bring sunscreen, as the beach here doesn't have much shade
*bring your own cup, and they will make drinks in it :) you help reduce waste on the island, and it also becomes a better deal for the drink prices
