Eat there 3 times this year, 2 times last year. Could use a little bigger variety on the menu, but what's there is done right. If your lucky they will have the kabobs up. The shrimp kabobs are great, should have bought 4 and made that a meal. They have the best pain killers on the island, not to forget, onion rings, with a Philly cheese steak. If your cruisin', it's well worth the walk up the beach or the road. Just get off the pier turn left and about a mile north

As other reviewers have said, the beach location is spectacular, and we went for a swim, sunning, and lunch. There is a covered area with a huge U-shaped bar, open at the end to a deck with heavy wooden tables, chairs, and beach umbrellas. The bar area was pretty well-filled with people who looked to be regulars, happily eating and drinking, so we took one of the deck area tables. It was all very oldtime Caribbean and Hemingway-esque. The recorded music was amazingly not too loud in the eating area, even though you could hear it all the way down the beach.
Service was fast and friendly, and we tried a couple of their very reasonably priced specialty drinks to help us decide on our menu choices. We weren't expecting anything too great with the food, but with the location and the drinks we were already at two out of three! The menu choices were more interesting than we expected. My wife finally went for the burger with blue cheese, and asked for medium to medium-well, as she hates it when it is still raw in the middle. I chose a caesar salad with blackened mahi on top, again with a little trepidation because I've found mahi mahi has to be really fresh or it tastes too fishy for my liking. The burger was perfect -- big and juicy, and just a little pink still in the middle. One of the best ever, as I was able to confirm with the small bite I was allowed! My salad was fine, not the best caesar I've ever had, but a long way up the ladder from the worst. The mahi mahi was excellent, and was possibly the best I've ever had. Generous in portion, perfectly cooked, tasty blackening, and no unpleasant fishiness.
Tempting as it was to hang around for what promised to be a spectacular sunset, we headed back to the Christiansted side of the island, feeling that we had found the perfect beach cafe to spend a day at.

I just did a review on this website for this place. MMM... Okay, LOVE this place. The beach is one of the best. The food is so delicious and I love that there are vegetarian options. The drinks are to die for. It's so laid back - it's addicting! We are going back in a month! Can't wait!

One of the great discovery in St-Croix is the Rainbow Beach Bar & Grill where we had a great time, cool beers and delicious snacks. This place is unpretentious and you can relax and enjoy the beautiful beach. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We took a taxi to go there but somehow we couldn't get one to come and pick us up - no worries ! one of the local people gave us a ride back to Frederisksted in his 4x4 pick-up truck ! you could not find friendlier people than in St-Croix !
