We just finished jet skiing with west end water sports and it was awesome. Literally I'm sending this while aboard our cruise ship in Frederiksted still docked. Scott and Brian are really nice and down to earth people who operate this place. After your done you can chill on beach or sit in shop and talk to these guys off they are not really busy. Best time is in morning or you may have to call for reservations in afternoon. If your looking to jet ski in St. Croix look no further than this place.

We did a jet ski package at Rainbow beach run by West End Water Sports. We (wife and kids) did it after doing an ATV tour with Geckos Island Adventure that is sold as a package ("the 2-fer").

Good instructions, easy to use the machines and a great beach/waterfront area in which to ride the machines. It was a relatively calm day on the water when we went and we all managed to get the machines cranked up to about 50 MPH, which is quite a buzz when you're flying over the water. Two of us had riders on the back and that seemed to be fine - no issues driving or staying on the machine when you had dual riders. It was funny, after ten minutes we all had the "is this all there is to this" kind of feeling but kept doing it and were amazed when we saw that an hour had passed.

One bit of advice - make sure you wear sunglasses when you ride or the spray from the machine is going to absolutely blind you. Also, I can tell you that trying to turn at 34 MPH on a jet ski isn't the best idea in the world, although my kids seemed to enjoy watching me skip across the water when I fell off the machine!

After renting the jet ski for half an hour, my husband and I decided to come back for the guided tour. As my husband is a non-swimmer he was a bit anxious. Scott made us both feel so comfortable, it was more like jet skiing with one of your buddies than it was a guided tour. This was an unforgettable experience to see the island from a jet si, snorkel at a shipwreck site, all the while having an unbelievable time! Scott was personable, professional, and committed to making it an amazing tour! By far the most fun we had on the island! Totally worth the reasonable price!!

Rented a jet ski for half an hour from them, the jet ski itself looked well maintained, it rode great and we had no problem with it. The play area seems big at first until you start using the jet ski then you realize that the place is very easy to get from one side to the other in a short amount of time and then you have to turn around and repeat and repeat and repeat until eventually you feel like a caged lion.
It is very fun driving the jet ski though, and you get a great view of the beach and island. The guys renting the jet skies are professional and are customer oriented, you have a safety review before going on the jet ski but your time doesnt start until after the review so it doesnt consume part of your riding time. They have safety in mind by making you wear your life jacket and assuring you dont go past 5 mph in the swimming area.

If you have the money for it Id say do their extreme tour, you get to ride outside the play area with them and it seems like a more rewarding experience.
