Went on the tour, one other group of tourists & us, and 3 drunk young guys who skipped the tour & drank at the bar, then tried to tell us all what we should drink. Tour was interesting, fast. I asked lots of questions. Guide acted like she was just anxious to go home. 2 samples at bar are highly regulated, no sharing, restrictions on what you can try. Good if you are curious about rum process. Molasses imported from Guatemala, distilled & aged here, then shipped to Tenn. by tanker truck/ship. Owner Jim Beam bottles it in Tennessee . Competitor jack Daniels owns Bacardi. I think fee was $10 for tour, & you could buy drinks, too. They close at 4pm. Small gift shop, t shirts, etc. credit cards ok. This is a real tour of an industrial factory. You climb ladders, look in giant rum vats, etc. not beautified for tourists except the gift shop. Fine, but you should know what to expect.
