“nicely groomed, but not very interesting”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

The botanical gardens cost $8 per person to get in, and their gift shop also featured opportunities to empty your wallet. But there was really not a whole lot to see, aside from some abandoned old shacks and other structures that had been there for 100 years, a few nice trees, including a mango tree with fruit hanging from the branches, and some colorful flowers scattered here and there. Truly, not a very exciting experience.

By far a must see on St Croix. The grounds and ruins are a wondeful glimpse of the past. The variety of plantings is the best .A don't miss

“Historical and Beautiful”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

We did a self-guided tour, learned a lot about the island's and garden's history and took some gorgeous photographs. This is one of my favorite places on earth. Please go visit! Use your sunscreen and some Off to keep the bugs from bothering you and you will have a great time.

“Get your Noni Oil in the Gift shop”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

Loved the tour and bought a bottle of Healing Oil of Noni. All natural healing oil from a medicinal tree. Love it! Works on joint and muscle pain and helped with bug bites and sunburn.

“Botanical Gardens”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

Good for a cloudy day on St Croix. Takes about one to two hours and does a nice job of showing local plants and trees with descriptions of their usage.
