We just returned from a trip to St. Croix. We spent a week staying at Arawak Bay Inn, and found the owners, Jennifer and Lionel, to be delightful people who run a very clean and comfortable inn. We looked forward to the breakfast each morning (included with the room)--be sure to ask Lionel to make his famous pumpkin pancakes!

A great B&B. Modern, clean, all the amenities. Great breakfasts. Beautiful view. Convenient to dive shops and restaurants on the North Shore. Jennifer and Lionel are lovely and gracious people. Very accomodating. I will stay here again.

Arawak Bay is a beautiful, serene Inn, perfectly located on the island...close enough to see and hear the ocean, feel the breeze and get to any where that you want to go. The Inn itself is gorgeous, the rooms are clean, large and airy, the grounds lush, the tropical simplicity is exactly what we needed to completely relax.
Jennifer and Lionel are the the kind of people that we all love to have in our lives, and as a guest, you feel that they define the word "welcome". You feel as though you're family the moment that you arrive.
We had a wonderful vacation, one of the best of our lives, largely because we lucked into this particular place to stay and these amazing folks. We will be back.

Jennifer and Lionel are great hosts. Very accommodating and helpful. The Inn is new, the rooms are big standard hotel rooms. The location is quiet and just a few minutes away from nice snorkeling at Cane Bay. The pool is small but welcome. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, and Jennifer and Lionel are happy to work to meet any special needs.

Definitely get a car if you stay here, there is NOTHING within walking distance. Having said that, you will want a car on St. Croix anyway.

We had an amazing time at the Arawak Bay Inn. Jennifer and Lionel are the friendliest inn keepers we have ever come across. The rooms are clean and well maintained and the views…oh, the views! Spectacular! What an escape from snowy, cold New England.

The breakfast was very good, with normal breakfast fare along with traditional delights from St. Croix. The inn is close to everything - a short ride to snorkeling, golf, hiking, etc., and once the sun goes down you can head into Christiansted to enjoy a nice meal or some nightlife. Whatever you do during the day or night, you can always count on returning to a relaxing, quiet room with spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea. We will surely return to the Arawak Bay Inn – one of the most relaxing, charming inns we have ever encountered.

We were so delighted to find Arawak Bay Inn. All of the positive reviews came true for us. Our rooms were beautiful and spacious, the view of the ocean was breathtaking, and the hospitality shown by Jennifer and Lionel turned a lovely hotel into a home. Simply put, we don't think we could have stayed at a nicer place. A few pointers: a car is a must, though nothing on the island is terribly far away. Jennifer and Lionel provide beach towels, so no need to pack bulky towels. And they have a laundry service come nightly and return clean clothes the next day for a reasonable fee. We found that especially helpful and convenient.

Thinking of having a really, wonderful place to stay in St. Croix and enjoy the views of beautiful aquamarine waters in a peaceful tropical paradise, the place is Arawak Bay: the Inn at Salt River. It is a great place to stay I enjoyed my stay there immensely. It is definitely not your typical B&B but you still have the coziness of an inviting home. The lovely plantation verandah gives you that relaxed feeling. Lionel and Jennifer are the perfect hosts and they do see to your every need.
