Cool Irish pub, with GREAT burgers, an awesome beer selection, and very friendly staff. The wagyu burger with lobster was so good.

This is the only place on St. Croix where you can get Guinness on tap. Extra bonus - Smithwicks and Yuengling too!!

The burger with lobster was fabulous, as was the lobster BLT. Appetizers are a bit pricey, but the zucchini was very good.

Call for reservations. It's a very small place and you need to go early.

Had dinner there and was amazed at the large numbers of beers available in this small tavern. Their extensive menu includes some of the best burgers and sandwiches I have ever run across. Their fries are cooked in "duck fat" - I know sounds wierd but they are the tastiest fries I have ever had. Great taste. Service was impeccible and they make an opportunity to know all the customers coming in so you feel like you are friends with the staff by the time you leave.

Bedsides beers they also have wine and a full bar. Their prices are reasonable for what you get. You definitely will not walk away hungry. My wife and I plan on going back for one of their po'boy sandwiches before we leave the island. Unfortunately, we are leaving before June 19th but they will have an extensive beer and food pairing (5 courses of food) on that day which promises to be a lot of fun. If you get to Christenstad then get to Tavern 1844 at least once. You won't be disappointed.

Hmmm, tried to get a table but guess you can't walk in at 8:30pm on a Thursday without reservations. Stood around the bar for a while only to be told the open tables in the bar were reserved but that we could sit in the back patio area--too bad there were no open tables on the back patio either. Maybe the bartender shouldn't also play host, seater, busboy and waiter to everyone in the bar and the service would be a little faster (never mind "island time", just tell me there's no table and not waste everyone's time). To his credit he was't rude. The food looked good from the menu and I was looking forward to trying it. Never got back over there again, and not particularly feeling the loss. I chalk it up to a tourist place that doesn't campaign for repeat business and/or is noticibly understaffed.

A little tavern located 2 blocks from the boardwalk in Christiansted has some of the best lunch and dinner one could ever imagine coming from a 5x6 kitchen. The exquisite sandwich combinations are mouth watering. Not to mention they are the only air conditioned tavern on St. Croix with Guinness on tap! Try some of their 40+ beers.
