“Caribbean Night Fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 22, 2012

My fiancee and I had 2 wonderful meals at the Palms. Caribbean night buffet- stand outs were the fall off the bone ribs and fun fried dough bread. Wine list was fantastic (many choices) and the entertainment was fun (Kiki and the flaming gypsies were actually pretty cool). We also had Thanksgiving day lunch with a real turkey and ham and yummy sides like sweet potatoes, mac n cheese, butternut squash. Emily who served us was fantastic. Def a good choice in St Croix.

“Great service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 19, 2012

We were staying at The Hibiscus just down the beach and we walked over for lunch and a couple of evening meals. The service was great, and the food every time was awesome.

“Superior Service - Excellent Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 18, 2012

We had dinner at The Palms at Pelican Cove November 8 - November 15th. I can't give the restaurant high enough marks. We had dinner there on Friday, November 9th. We deceided to splurge and go for the surf and turf. The lobster was caught earlier that day. It was the sweetest meat I have ever tasted. (My pallete is aqauinted with Atlantic lobsters). The steak was super tender. I had to be one of the BEST dinners I have ever had in my life. Our waiter was Andy. If you are ever fortunate enough to have him be your waiter, your in fro a treat. Service was superior and he has a wonderful sense of humor.

Our dinner was on the pricey side, but then again it was surf and turf. There is something on the menu for every budget. The atmosphere is relaxed and steps away from a beach.

“Nice View, but food and service were substandard”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2012

The restaurant is right on the beach with nice views of the water and surrounding landscape. The menu was standard breakfast food, which was ok, but not that great. The service was bad--there were two other tables of people besides us, one couple and one table of 10-12 people. After waiting for about 15 minutes for our order to come, a waiter came to tell us it would be "a long time" because of the big party. It took about 35 minutes to get our food.

Glad that you enjoyed our location. We do try and vary our menus on a regular basis to incorporate Guest requests. And as I'm sure you noticed, since we are a resort our menus are built more around comfort foods than around specialty items. I'm sorry your breakfast took longer to arrive than usual. With another party of a dozen people coming in just before you it does unfortunately slow things down a bit. We do appreciate your taking the time to review our restaurant as it as it helps to keep us pointed in the right direction.
