“delicious dinner”
Reviewed January 13, 2014

I had a delicious dinner at Comanche Club. The chef came out to chat and mentioned that they were under new management (or ownership/chefship, not sure) as of just a month or two. In any case, the prices were VERY low and a great deal for St. Croix and I had the filet, which was superb. I'll try it again next time I'm on the island. Note: They close at 7 p.m. for dinner.

“Traditional Caribbean restaurant with spotty food”
Reviewed December 26, 2013

This restaurant is an old time tradition in Christiansted and the food can be very good to average, depending on the chef that is on at the time I assume. Service, like the food, can be good and not so good but that is the "normal" in the Caribbean. People there are usually very relaxed either because they are on vacation or they live there and that covers most everyone you will meet. Prices are average for most decent restaurants in the area. In any case I would strongly recommend you experience the Comanche Club as a "must" in the USVI.

“Love the new bar and wine tasting--what a deal!”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

We went for the wine tasting-- 4 glasses (NOT tastings) of wine for $20-- whoa-- we scaled it back to two glasses of premium wines each and it was perfectly chilled and Andrea the bartender was wonderful -- knew her wines-- and had a delightful personality-- the owner Jack Pickle was there and he gave us the tour of his hotel--he has renovated one of the oldest buildings in STX and preserved the Danish architecture-- it is really cool and worth the visit to see-- they weren't doing food tastings in the summer but we will go back in January and see how they are doing. The hotel is really awesome right on the water/boardwalk with great views. They have a live band in the bar on Saturday nights but didn't make it back there but will try again this week.

“Would definitely stay again”
Reviewed November 4, 2012

Historical hotel with newly-renovated rooms, an open-air bar on a terrace really make you feel like you are a long way from home. However, the friendly staff make you feel right at home.

“Yachtless Club!”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

Fun place, great service, I highly recommend it! Prices are slightly lower than the other nearby establishments and the $2 a slice pizza can't be beat for an inexpensive snack while having a cool one!
