Owner description: This rocky promontory, the easternmost point in the United States, juts into the Caribbean Sea and features "The Castle," a huge mansion perched atop the cliffs and which resembles India's Taj Mahal and a Moorish mosque.

Interesting stop as part of larger visit. If.only coming for this, blah. Sun dial is cool. View nice. Sunset = mediocre as sun hidden by islands. Surely sunrise would be spectacular if you can motivate that early!!

Advice would be to do this in conjunction with Isaac Bay -- two minutes down road.

This is a great place to watch the sunrise as it is the furthest eastern most point but also really cool at sunset! The view and monument is up above the shoreline and surrounded by coastal views on three sides! Must have a car in order to reach.

The drive to this site is gorgeous but it is easy to miss your road and find yourself on the other side of the island. The road is winding and slow but the vistas are amazing and well worth the effort.

Though the road out to Pt. Udall is a bit sketchy,(very narrow with lots of blind turns} it is definitely worth the trip out there. On the road out , you pass Cramer Park and the Array and beautiful ocean/cliff views. There are small parking areas for the paths that take you down to Issacs and Jacks Bay /Beach. It's a good hike, but the view from the top tells the story. The road circles around the monument and allows for parking along the perimeter. Get out and look in any direction and you're rewarded (hills ,beaches, cliffs with blow holes, and an amazing shots of Buck Island. On a clear day, it's a great way to strech your legs.
