Loved walking down the little path to the beach under the canopy of trees and plants. Watch your head! The beach is isolated and beautiful...

This is my favorite beach on St. Croix. There were just a few people here throughout an entire day, so you get privacy and quiet, not to mention good sand and swimming.

This is a secluded, beautiful beach. We were there at sunset for our wedding ceremony. It was wonderful and had the beach to ourselves. It's so cool walking through the tree tunnel to get to the beach. Will go back when we visit in February.

What a fun little walk to this beach. The parking lot leads to a very cool, tree covered path to the beach. There had been a great deal of rain, so the path was submerged under 6" of water, a very weird slog through the water! However, the beach was the perfect, sandy fringed crescent you've ever seen! Good snorkeling to the right; when conditions are good, you can swim around the point to the Buccaneer if you wish. Truly, a gorgeous beach for swimming and snorkeling. Do this with the Buc and Tamarind Reef and you will see how nice snorkeling is on St. Croix.

I feel strange even writing this review for fear of giving away the "secret" of Shoy's Beach! We had this beautiful strip of sand to ourselves for most of the morning, with just a few other folks coming and going after noon. Although it was a blustery day on the island, the water here was still calm and inviting.

No facilities or anything, we don't even remember seeing a trash can.
The beach is bordered by some trees that could make for shade/shelter if needed.

Access the beach by entering the Buccaneer resort and taking the first right to a separate guard house for the Shoy's subdivision. The guard asked our name and what state my drivers license was from and away we went! So glad we gave this beach a try.
