“Great spot...great beach...great rooms”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 31, 2012

family of 5 stayed there. Very nice rooms with a kitchenette. Enjoyed being next to the beach. Breakfast was included.

Heated pool was great to relax at after being on the beach.

Beach is wonderful. Plenty of water activities or just layout out. sand was soft and not course like other areas.

We've stayed at The Veranda, The Grace Bay Club, and Villa Renaissance and each of these properties has something to recommend it, but when we return to T&C, we will stay at Seven Stars. Having seen the resort on past trips to Provo, I was put off by it's larger size, but the staff is so friendly it felt like we were amongst friends very quickly. This resort has the friendliest staff (from groundskeeping to housekeeping, to front desk), cleanest common areas, and the nicest (large, clean, new) pool. Though Seven Stars is a large resort, the pool, restaurants, gym, never felt crowded and the staff knew us by name.
We stayed in a 4 bedroom ocean front suite on the third floor of Alya and although there was a large balcony it angled "sideways" so the view was obstructed by one of the other buildings and was the biggest drawback of our stay. Other resorts we've stayed at had much better "straight ahead" views of the ocean. Next visit, I will ask for a _better_ ocean view and hope they are able to accomodate my request. We required a late check-out and were generously moved to a "hospitality suite" which was a large ocean view suite on the first floor of our building for our "check-out" day. Both rooms had gourmet kitchens, comfortable furnishings, and seemed very new.
Our last day on resort was just before Christmas, and the only day when pool chaises were getting to be in short supply, but it still didn't seem crowded to be there. Our weather turned windy and cool and it would have been nice if our younger children could have warmed up in the hot tub, but they were enforcing a "no children under 12 allowed in the hot tub" policy.
We ate at Seven and enjoyed it both nights. We ate at the poolside Sand Dollar and the food was also good (steak sandwich, hot dogs, grilled veggie wrap, hamburgers) and the drinks were strong. The complimentary breakfast is great: French Toast, pancakes, fruit, cereal, bagels, pastry, yogurt, bacon, eggs, and a huge choice of toppings (chocolate syrup, fresh berries, whipped cream)!
The gym was very well maintained and uncrowded, and the Spa was delightful, though the treatment rooms seemed a bit understated. The tennis courts and kids' playground were also in excellent shape and definitely not "an afterthought". While we didn't make use of the _complimentary_ (could this be true?) Kids' Camp, the staff seemed very sweet and kind to the very few kids we saw taking advantage of the activities.
Another feature (if you aren't familiar with the island's layout) is Seven Stars is within walking distance of shops, great restaurants (Bella Luna, Caicos Cafe) and shops in both directions. The resort has complimentary bicycles, but we chose to walk with our multi-generational group as things were so close.
I would definitely recommend Seven Stars~

Room Tip: Ask if your Ocean View is facing the ocean or angled toward the pool.

Dear valued guest,

Many thanks for your review and we are delighted that you had such a positive experience at Seven Stars Resort.

The answer to your question is that yes our Shooting Stars Kids Club is complimentary. We have a Twinkle Stars Group for 2 to 3 year olds and our Super Stars Group is for kids 4 years and older.

Camps are available twice daily – morning and afternoon and supervised activities include story time, hand and face painting, playground fun, arts and crafts and Wii gaming.

When the weather is a little cool we now turn up the heat in our salt water swimming pool to 85 degrees so although the adult hot tub is not available to our under 12 year old guests they can warm up in our 150,000 gallon hot tub instead!

Once again many thanks for your great feedback. Please do not hesitate to contact our reservations manager Yngrit on yreynoso@sevenstarsgracebay.com to arrange your choice of suite for your next visit in our island paradise.

With warm regards,

Ken Patterson

Many of our comments have already been mentioned so I'll provide a summary:

The good:
- stayed in jr 1 bedroom which included an enormous bathroom consisting of: double sinks, large shower stall and jacuzzi tub. La occitane bath products.
- small fully stocked galley kitchen (cooktop, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, full set of knives, cutlery, dishes, pots, glasses)
- windows everywhere - letting in maximum light.
- very clean - service came twice daily and provided free bottles of water
- pool / water sports - large selection of available gear to use
- absolutely loved using the complimentary bikes available
- great location - relatively short walk / bicycle ride to places
- breakfast included with nice selection of fruits and berries
- staff always polite and courteous
- 1 computer, free DVDs and small selection of books available
- very close to grocery store
- look for daily lunch specials at the "deck" - relatively good value

The "could do better":
- breakfast was the same every day (hot portion = scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, sautéed mushrooms, grilled tomatoes). Although slight variation in the pastries - definitely gets tired after 7 days. Also didn't even know toast was available until the 2nd day when the waiter offered to get this for me (toaster is not part of the buffet area). Never saw a waffle or pancake station while I was there (as mentioned by management in response to another review) although that would be great, and even 1 day a week have an omelet station / egg station (ie for sunny side, egg white omelets etc)
- although water sport equipment available (fins, snorkels, paddle boards, sailing catamaran, etc ) the booth on the beach never had an attendant - had to ask to find someone. If the attendant isn't meant to be there, please put up a sign advising us to ask one of the many pool / beach folks for assistance. It seemed like only one guy had the keys to unlock the storage areas.
- bikes need to have tire pressure checked regularly. Most of the bikes had very low tire pressure so hard to ride. I understand these are complimentary but bikes (although "trek") had no gears nor hand brakes. Need a better way to unlock the bikes - most of the lock # have worn off so each day, the poor guy had to search through his key stash to find the key to the right bike.
- wifi was very spotty
- balcony only had 1 reclining lounge chair for the jr suite - I understand the balcony is small but a nuisance to bring out another chair when we wanted to sit together outside
- periodically the sound travels between the adjoining room

Overall we were happy with our stay and would consider returning to this resort.

Room Tip: Ocean views are lovely

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to complete your review on Trip Advisor regarding your recent stay at Seven Stars Resort and we are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us.

Your feedback is very important to us so we can continually deliver the service Seven Stars Resort is renowned for and exceed our guest’s expectations on future visits.

We are continuously adding to and changing our complimentary breakfast – both the hot selection and the continental. The waffle and pancake station has been a very recent addition to our breakfast along with a toasting station. We are also currently expanding our al la carte choices.

Water sports hut should always be manned unless poor weather means we have to close the water activities for that day. Any of our beach attendants are delighted to assist in any request our guests may have so please feel free to ask your server to arrange your fins or for any other water sports equipment you would like.

Our bikes are “Beach Cruisers” and designed with low pressure tires which are checked every day. We have new locks on order which will resolve the problem of the right key for the right lock issue which we are currently experiencing.

Wifi is very strong throughout the resort – some guest’s mobile devices do not initially recognize the net work and in these instances our IT team quickly resolves the problem. Please let us know if you find a weak area and we can boost that specific signal.

We will be pleased to place an additional lounger on your balcony – please request this when you are making your next reservation.

Once again many thanks for your feedback and we look forward to serving you again in our island paradise.

Warm regards,

Ken Patterson

We spent six days at the Seven Stars from dec. 12-17 2012 and it was one of the best vacations we've ever been on. It was our first time to Provo and I can't say enough good things about the resort. Simply incredible service, sincerely, friendly, helpful, funny people, one of the nicest beaches just steps from the room, an incredible pool and watersports amenities; not to mention the fantastic central location of the resort itself to the center of Grace Bay. Everything you need - food, booze, dive shop is in easy walking distance. Including the casino! We were going to rent a car and found it completely unnecessary. Saved us hundreds of dollars. The room had an efficient, well-stocked kitchen and we used it to great extent on our trip; the bed was just incredibly comfortable and my girlfriend loved the spa services. Not to mention, there were so few people! We had almost the whole beach to ourselves at several points, I couldn't believe it.
Literally my only complaint is that the drinks at the beach bar were too weak for the price. But you can bring your own, so that was really not an issue. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Really just incredible natural beauty if you like the beach, diving, or relaxing.

Room Tip: Absolutely must get ocean view above third floor (no trees blocking the spectacular sunsets)

My partner and I spent a week at the Seven Stat resort at the end of November. We expected to have a good experience; the reality was much better:

• Rooms - can't get better than Seven Stars; high ceilings, gigantic bathrooms, spacious balcony, outstanding kitchen equipped with coffee maker AND espresso machine, fancy lighting…all spotless.
• Service - everything gets done super-fast and easy from check-in, booking bicycles, making dinner reservation, you name it. Our room was always cleaned as soon as we left in the morning.
• Food: the Deck was my favourite with a good selection, reasonable prices, and superb ambiance. Seven Stars was good too, but more expensive; one of the best features is the gourmet grocery store a few minutes away from the resort; there are plenty of dining options within walking distance.

If you like to play tennis, the two lit courts are in very good shape. Pool & beach area both outstanding, with plenty of lounge chairs available.

Other than the numerous mosquito bites that I wasn’t able to avoid while in Providenciales, I wouldn’t change a thing about this vacation.

Room Tip: Corner suites on the upper levels are outstanding

Thanks to a perfectly timed email from the Tropical Travelers I found out about the Seven Stars Report in Turks and Caicos. My friend and I booked a last minute Thanksgiving get away for a little R&R - and we ended up getting a lot.
The folks at Seven Stars treated us wonderfully - everyone greeted you with a simile (and remembered your names.) I highly recommend you take the half day boat snorkling trip with Cardi - he's the best!! It's an intimate trip and a great way to meet some of the other people staying at the resort. Also, go chat with Eldridge and Clay who run the water sports on the beach...they'll set you up with paddle boards - so much fun!!

The room which was actually a small luxury apartment was gorgeous. Our view from the 5th floor overlooking the pool and ocean was spectacular. The only complaint/recommendation was that they only had one bedroom with one king side bed so one of us had to sleep on a pull-out couch. Would recommend they convert some rooms to have two queen beds.

The food at the Seven restaurant was fantastic(albit a little expensive...but as are most restaurants on the island). Try the vanilla rum poached lobster risotto. Delicious! We're already talking about planning a trip back with a group of friends. Thank you Seven Stars for a fantastic RELAXING vacation!!

I had never been to Turks before, and I will def go back. We attended a wedding that Saturday at Gansevort and I’m glad we did not stay there. I think the bang for buck on 7 stars hotel was a good call. We booked through Jetstter and got a real good deal (compared to the price of the other high end hotels) For an ocean view balcony room with breakfast included. I read someone else review and said maybe they should change breakfast around a little because it is the same everyday and I agree. The staff at 7 stars was great. Ask for Erica at the front desk. She will get you everything and anything you need. She actually won the award (pretty sure I saw plaque by the front desk) for the longest straight conversation in all the island of 4 hour and 32 minutes. The rooms and the pool r great and Kirkwood makes a mean cocktail at the bar. The location is the best on the island and u can walk to the supermarket from the hotel which was within 3 minutes. Last, the coco bistro was the best food on the island. is only 1 mile away--I hope to return soon for another visit.

Room Tip: Try to book above the 2nd floor
