“Concierge, Claudine Awesome.”
Reviewed April 6, 2011

The hotel amazing, the beach and the pool is very nice.
The deck at the evenings to take a drink is really cool.
Service at the pool could be better.
Food is very tasty and modern.
For little kids you don´t have specific activities, but with the huge room, the pool and beach for us was one of our best 7 nights vacations.
The beach at Turks and Caicos is the best worldwide.
If money is not a problem for you, go to Amanyara Resort, if not this is the best on the island.

I want to say THANK YOU, to Claudine at the Concierge, the day we were living the island, American Airlines, cancel our flight to Miami, (typical) and our flight was combined with another one, to SouthAmerica. When Claudine tell us, was 30 minutes to reach the last flight from the island. She comes with her own car, to our suite parking, help us with the luggage, and drop of very fast to the airport, finally we reach the plane. Thank you Claudine.

Great with families, but wanted something more romantic. The beach is unbelievable. The island people are awesome. Rent bikes from the place down the road, because the bikes at resort are not in great condition. Restaurants were all amazing. Ask the locals for their recommendations, because the concierge was just okay. The grounds are beautiful. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my children, but next time would opt for a more adult only place. Service was always a little slow, but it was like that everywhere. If you sit at the bars, you get served a lot quicker. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Not that much night life. There is a casino close by, but we didn't go. Don't limit yourself to the hotel, check out other places. Snorkeling trips bring you to even more beautiful beaches, if you can believe that. Overall, it was an awesome place to be.

Room Tip: Book through American Express for upgrades.

We really enjoyed our stay the service was brillant, the staff are fantastic always there to help but never in the way.
Our room was elegant, luxurious and had a beautiful sea view. There was everything you could possible want, including a washer and dryer which proved very useful.
The location of Seven Stars is perfect because you are right on the beach and its the most magnificent beach that goes on for miles with a turquoise sea and soft sand. We has some amazing walks as well as long swims. Some of our group went diving which was brillant.
We loved the terrace bar perfect for sun downers and had some great evenings there enjoying the live music. We ate there a few times when we just wanted a casual meal and the food was delicious.
We will definitly be back.

Room Tip: All the rooms are great

We made the mistake of staying at the Alexandra; should have stayed here! We visited Kirkwood at the bar everyday! His Mojitos are yummy! The food was yummy! We enjoyed the ambiance so much that we came back after diner for drinks by the fire pit where we were greeted by Kevin (Manager of the bar, deck area). He was very friendly, warm and funny! We loved the service and will definitely be back! Best service and hospitality on Provo!

We just returned from a one week stay at Seven Stars. We brought our 7 and 4 year old children and had a truly wonderful vacation. The rooms are enormous, brand new, with huge outfitted kitchens (the GraceWay grocery store is a three minute walk from the hotel), large bathrooms with deep tubs with jets in addition to walk in showers and lovely linens and L'Occitane bath products. The entire resort is impeccably clean. The staff is incredibly helpful, courteous and friendly. Kathy and Caroline at the Kids Club, made the experience for the adults relaxing and free! Our kids loved going to the Kids Club. They offer different activities each day and tailor the activities to the number of children and their interests. The women who work at the kids club also babysit in the evenings so the kids have an easy transition and their parents can go out to one of the wonderful restaurants nearby. Coco Bistro, Anacoanda and Grace's Cottage are all easy walks from the resort. On that note, Seven Stars is in the middle of a row of 5 star hotels. You can easily walk to any of them for lunch or dinner.

In terms of the setting, the beach is stunning. The water is the most gorgeous turquoise, warm for swimming and the sand is powdery white and always stays cool. There are more than enough chairs at the beach and the beach attendants stop by to take drink orders, offer towels and offer free tastes of smoothies throughout the day. Sunsets are divine.

Seven Stars has the most robust offering of water sports after Beaches, but with far fewer guests vying for them. There are 4 hobie cats, paddle boards, numerous glass bottom kayaks, windsurfers and a twice daily snorkel trip. Clay, Jerry and Michael are knowledgeable and friendly. They offer casual instruction and formal lessons.

The resort also has two tennis courts and a playground for the kids.

The duet Nada plays at the Deck at Seven Stars twice a week. Nada is so popular that Fodor's and Frommer's recommend tracking them down at various hotels and restaurants. They have a great set list with old favorites and new popular music. The kids loved it and danced with Nadine.

We also enjoyed a half-day snorkel excursion with Turks and Caicos Dream Tours and a lunch overlooking Chalk Sound (amazing coconut shrimp!).

We were so busy we never had a chance to check out the spa. I did attend a first-rate, free Yoga class that is offered on Saturday mornings.

The restaurants at the hotel are really the only possible area for improvement. Service at the Deck restaurant was slow (as was service at many of the restaurants on the island, don't wait until the last minute to feed the kids!), and the menu at the Deck was not only limited but exactly the same as the lunch menu at the Sand Dollar. The formal restaurant is located inland, and we never tried it because we were not crazy about the setting. The Deck offers a good bbq with live music on Sundays. It would be even more fun if they set up tables directly on the beach.

Our room was a spectacular penthouse apartment, larger than the typical New York City abode. View of Grace Bay from two terraces, gourmet kitchen and two bathrooms. The resort is not too small, not too big, staff is very friendly and gracious, the on-site amenities are fine. If the weather had been a little more cooperative, it would've been perfect. Rent a car, explore the island, there are many semi-deserted beaches to visit.
