2014- Visit to Reef Residents for 5 nights/ 6 days. Very nice "condo" suite - 1 bedroom- 2 bath- lower level with huge semi-private courtyard close to the pool area. This is our first trip to the island and we love the beach at Grace Bay. The walk from hotel is 2 minutes. Towels, chairs and umbrella's are provided. The front staff was very helpful booking trips, making dinner reservations and providing good directions! Our room and all common areas were clean. In speaking with other guests, many have returned for years and several people own "fractional" condo- timeshare. (No sales pressure or come-ons) We also really enjoied Somewhere cafe- just a bit down the beach. They have excellent Pina Coloda's and Rum Punch.

I would highly recommend: Getting a few basic groceries and drinks upon arrival. The first morning we woke up without anything to eat or drink. There were no places in walking distance- and everything opens at 7 or 7:30. WE did find the ONLY 24 HOUR convenience store/ cafe- called MISS MOONEY'S. They play "loud" 70's- 80's music- but sell coffee and drinks, as well as well as food.

LOTS of Mosquitos at night. Keep food in Fridge- tiny ants show up quick.

Room Tip: Downstairs 1 bedrooms are twice as big as downstairs.

My fiancé and I stayed at Reef Residences for a week in late January and had the week of our lives. The highlight of our stay was the wonderfully accommodating staff and the perfectly located property. We have been to the island before and stayed at high end places such as The Gansevoort and Somerset. Our stay at Reef Residences was the most relaxing of all. The condos are HUGE and fully stocked with anything you would need. We even opted to forgo the great cuisine in Provo to cook at home a few nights (something we rarely do while on vacation). There is a high end (similar to a small whole foods) grocery store a short drive away that has all you need for a gourmet dinner at home. And THE BEACH. Grace Bay is stunning. The condos are a 30 second walk from pristine beauty. There are comfy beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels available for usage. Next door you can rent snorkel gear for the reef (a must do). Not to mention the rum punch that is available daily. We were having such a great time at Reef Residences that we chose to extend our vaca a few days. Leanne and the staff were so friendly and accommodating to our needs. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property. Good for couples, friends to share and families. The pool looked beautiful with free wi if available, however, with the beach so close we chose to have the sand in our toes! We also frequently stopped in at Somewhere Cafe to enjoy an afternoon libation. The drinks are great, staff warm and friendly, a do our lunch was great. Overall, we had an amazing time. The location of these residences is perfect-right on Grace Bay Beach, a short drive to town, and within walking distance to restaurants from The Gansevoort to Bay Bistro.

Room Tip: We really enjoyed our courtyard condo where we did not have to go up stairs and also had a lovely ga...

My girlfriend and I made our first trip to Turks and Caicos (and to Reef Residences) from 1/18/14 to 1/22/14. We had an absolutely amazing time at this property! We stayed in a 1 bedroom upper suite overlooking the pool / courtyard. The place was VERY clean, well appointed, and comfortable. It's perfect for a couple looking to stay somewhere close to the beach, but not looking to pay the much more expensive prices for being in a suite right on the beach.

This place is literally less than a football field away from the beach (and is located directly behind a beachfront complex). A quick left out of the property and down a short path leads you to Grace Bay Beach, where you will have your own chair, umbrella, towel (provided each day in your condo), and a delicious rum punch delivered every day promptly at 11:30-12:00.

We spent a great deal of time just relaxing on the beach and hanging out at the Somewhere cafe just down the beach from Reef Residences. The food (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) is reasonable and the drinks are great! The beach and the water is some of the most beautiful I have ever seen! The management at Reef took care of our every little need, including keeping us refreshed for a very reasonable price :)

We even scheduled a diving trip through the Dive shop at Coral Gardens (right next to Somewhere Cafe)! If you stay at Reef, you will get 10% off the Diving (which we also thought was fantastic).

If you are looking for a party, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for an escape, where the only thing you literally have to worry about is eating, drinking, and laying out on a secluded beach -- This is definitely the place for you.

We loved the Reef Residences and just spent a week (Jan. 4 – Jan. 11, 2014) in unit #5204. The location of this property is conveniently located just a little walk to one of the most beautiful beaches where there are umbrellas and lounge chairs with towels for relaxation. We stayed at the Royal West Indies last time in a Garden View Room and had to walk further to get to the beach than we did here at the Reef Residences. We traveled with our 3 year old daughter who loved playing in the pool every morning and evening. It’s a great place to stay if you are traveling with family or as a couple. We also loved the proximity to the reef right in front of Coral Gables which is amazing for an easy access snorkel. We saw so many fish here (almost more than on our snorkeling sail). Somewhere Café is located just a short walk away and had decent and affordable food. There are also several restaurants not too far away, but we would advise to rent a car if you want the convenience of getting around the island, etc. We rented a car for the entire week so we had the flexibility and freedom to beach hop or go out as we pleased.

We stocked up on food and beverages at the IGA Grocery store which I highly recommend doing since dining out can get very pricey around the island. We also packed almost one entire suitcase filled with snacks, cereals, pastas, etc. which also helped cut down on our grocery store needs. Everything is pretty pricey so just prepare for the grocery store excursion. The apartment had everything we needed to cook great meals. Everyone at the Reef Residences was willing to go above and beyond to please and fulfill our requests. Neuwon was so helpful upon arriving and all of the staff were as our week went on! It was such a pleasure to work with them and they were so very helpful at answering our questions, etc. Our reservation came with two 20 minute massages (which felt like 40 minutes). They were fabulous and we regret not extending them to a longer time period. Complimentary rum punches were also brought to the beach daily for the guests staying at Reef Residences, and if we missed ours, they would make one for us later in the day. They were delicious by the way.

Our room was a one bedroom apartment with kitchen and living room. It was very comfortable and we loved having coffee on the balcony. The room could have used a few more hooks to hang towels, swim suits on, etc. but we definitely made due. Eventually, I’m sure the property will choose to upgrade the televisions to flat screens. There is cable with numerous channels (which was nice to watch a Football bowl game) while we were there.

The Fish Fry at the Children’s Park down the road is definitely a MUST. It was an amazing night with great music, food, and beverages, along with dancing. The Fish Fry is the place to try various types of food from jerk chicken to lobster tails. A delicious Lobster tail was only $18 and it came with 2 sides. Some of our other restaurants we enjoyed were Da Conch Shack for appetizers (delicious fried cracked conch) and at OPUS we had a delicious whole grilled Red Snapper and Lobster pasta in a red sauce. Bella Luna downstairs serves only stone oven pizza which were delicious.

Our departure flight didn’t leave until 440 pm on a Sat. and after requesting a late check out, we were offered a hospitality suite where we could spend the rest of our day enjoying the pool and beach, having lunch, and showering prior to hoping on our plane back. This was the icing on the cake for our stay at the Reef Residences. There is nothing better than getting to enjoy your last “full” day on vacation prior to departing.

Turks and Caicos is definitely an island we will return to time and time again! We loved the Reef Residences and wouldn’t hesitate booking here for our next trip back. Everyone at the property made sure to make our vacation a relaxing and enjoyable time and for that we are extremely grateful and very thankful!

My husband and I just stayed at Reef Residences from Dec 26-Jan 2, 2014. We loved it so much, we've already booked a 2 bedroom for next year and bringing the kids and grandparents! The location is unbeatable, the facilities are very nice, and you'll love the concierge Nuwan! The water was so beautiful and snorkeling right off the beach was amazing! When we arrived, it was after 9:00pm and had to walk down the beach to find food. The Gansevort was very kind to feed us even though their kitchen was closed. We also ate at Mango Reef (LOVED IT), Somewhere Cafe (fun!), Opus ( good but not our favorite), Bugaloos (loved it), Bay Bistro, and The Green Bean (best coffee). Food is VERY expensive, but not any more than St.Thomas or Hawaii. We rented electric bikes for three days and had a BLAST! We rode to Chalk Sound and Long Bay Beach (very windy but awesome watching kiteboarding). New Year's Eve fireworks were the best I've EVER seen. We were up early almost every morning and loved walking up and down the beach, exploring on bikes, and taking a half day conch tour. I actually lost weight walking and riding so much! Counting the days til we return and love working with Leanne in making arrangements. This time we'll definitely rent a car with 6 of us.

Room Tip: With just 2 of us, we rented an upstairs one bedroom. Next year, we are getting a 2 bedroom with a...

We just returned from two fabulous weeks in Turks & Caicos. I was late in making our reservations, but they were able to accommodate the times and although we had to move two times, it wasn't a big deal. From the groundsmen up to Nuwan & Verne, the amazing, wonderful people that work here made our whole experience so fabulous. Usually when we return from travelling, we need a vacation from our vacation - not in this case. I feel rested, relaxed and rejuvenated:) The location is terrific, it is on Grace Bay, just not the crazy crowded part. The walk to the beach is so short, it is literally just down a short path. We have had ocean views on other trips, but didn't miss it on this one. I would recommend a rental, for groceries and shopping but only a small car. We got an SUV and other than transporting our luggage, it was not worth the extra $$ There aren't are crazy amount of activities to do, but the beach!! I am still dreaming of that amazing beach!! The noon rum punch was a complete hit with the crew and they were awesome enough to bring just fruit punch for those who chose. Loved this place, will recommend and will return!

Wow, What a beautiful place to visit!! I have always wanted to come to this island and was not disappointed. We spent September 1-7 at the Reef Residences for our honeymoon. Very central location, with the best snorkeling on the island just outside our front door at Coral Gardens. The walk to the beach was only 2 minutes, max. We loved Somewhere Cafe, which is next to Coral Gardens. Jerome was a stitch and we really enjoyed his company. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, # 5204 which was really nice and spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable, more so than the one at home!! The kitchen had enough kitchen gadgets to make a meal. I had read review after review when planning our tripand where we would stay. This resort did not disappoint. Vern and his co-workers were very nice and helpful and prepared to answer any question. I was prepared for the food to be expensive, I had read that in the reviews thinking to myself, "how expensive can it really be?" lol, but, I was not prepared for how very expensive it really was! We did rent a car which allowed us to explore the island and make trips to the IGA market. We priced beer and alcohol at the IGA but was told the Wine Cellar down the road was more economical. We purchased a case of Coors Light cans and paid $54.00. Dos Equis was $75.00 a case, Turkey $12.99 a pound, Family size Honey Nut Cherrios $10.00. We ate breakfast and lunch in our suite, which helped defer the cost of food. We did the West Caicos full day snorkel trip on Wednesday through Caicos Adventures. Vern recommended this company as well as LeAnne. We had a great day, alot of fun, with great people!! We went to the community fish fry at the childrens park on Thursday which was put on by the Chamber of Commerce with food provided by local restaurants. Music was also provided, but the prices were comparable to sitting down at a restaurant, and I really wanted to eat at the "Mango Reef" at the Alexandra resort, so we did that instead. It is right on the beach, with beautiful sunsets and great food. We would also recommend Boogaloo's for lunch or dinner. This restaurant is right ON the beach and has georgeous views. We received wonderful massage's (my husband says the best he's ever had) at the Reef Residences Spa. It was a complimentry massage for 20 minutes, but we upgraded to the 50 minute massage, later receiving a call from Vern telling us that it was suppose to be 50 minutes. That was a nice surprise receiving free massage's!! We spent one night at the pool with drinks and a bottle of wine and had the pool all to ourselves!! We did explore other beaches on the island, Longbay Beach, Taylor Bay and Sapodilla Bay. Taylor Bay is beautiful with very smooth water. Great place for kids(or Adults) to play since the water is only about waist deep for about 300 ft.out. (found directions to Taylor Bay by googling Taylor Bay directions) Would recommend bringing breakfast food and snacks to help save on food expense. Also when you pay for your room, the 12% tax and the 10% tax is added per night, not to the total amount of your stay, which added about $35.00 per night to the room cost. We would also recommend Boogaloo's for lunch or dinner. This restaurant is right ON the beach and has georgeous views. Yes I was overwhelmed by the prices and this island is very expensive but it was worth the white sand beaches and the wonderful week of memories we will alway's cherish. This was a honeymoon of a lifetime, a nice relaxing week in what is truly paradise!! Beautiful Island, Beautiful Resort, Beautiful people, Wonderful new friends from New York, St. Louis, New Jersey, and Mesquite, Tx So much fun!!!! I definitely want to return!!

Room Tip: Our room faced the pool with one window, It was very nice and quiet. One huge kingsize bed that was...
