My family and I have visited Turks and Cacaos many times and this was by far the best accommodations we have ever had.
We were picked up at the airport in a black SUV and after a short ride arrived at the Somerset.
Greeted with a wet towel and cool drink.
The check in was quick and easy and the staff was very efficient.
We instantly felt like family.
We were then taken to our room, which was very spacious with a private bedroom and a balcony with a view of the beautiful pool and the breath taking ocean.
There was food service at the pool and the drinks were perfectly refreshing. Large fluffy towels and very comfortable chairs were easily available at the pool and the beach.
Each morning an incredible breakfast was included at the hotel restaurant, which was a great way to start our day.
The staff was very accommodating, anything we wanted was provided, and the room was immaculately cleaned.
Somerset on Grace Bay is definitely gets 5 stars and is a must for all.

What a beach, white powder sand and clear blue/green waters, going on for miles in either direction. Perfect for beach walks and swimming. We stayed in the garden building, which does not have a beach view (and of course costs less than rooms with beach views). The residence was a two bedroom, two bathroom, three floor villa, with a fully stocked kitchen and laundry. The furnishings are consistent with an English cottage motif, with real furniture in good shape, and a fair amount of appropriate wall hangings, a nice touch to feel more like a home than a hotel. Wifi was decent, but at night we had difficulty streaming movies. Breakfast was ok, missing a better selection of cereals, breads and cheese. Fresh fruit was abundant and the omelettes were quite good. I was disappointed that the beach lounge chairs, unlike the hotel's website photos, did not have foam cushions - those chairs can only be found poolside; instead the beach chairs were the standard variety aluminum frame with mesh. The front desk staff were excellent and very helpful. All calls for needed or missed items (towels, shower products, water) were answered in less than five minutes each time, quite impressive. While not perfect, the experience is excellent overall.

Just spent a week at the Somerset. The facilities are beautiful and the beach can’t be beat. But the best part is the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. The concierge was helpful in making dinner recommendations and reservations and the front desk staff was always smiling. The beach staff was exceptional with their great attitude and big smiles. Thank you in particular to Loxley and Bernard at the beach and Winston at reception.

From the moment we arrived, check-in to check-out, this resort was wonderful. The accommodations are beautifully appointed with everything you could want. We enjoyed beautiful days on the beach. On our way to breakfast Sharon greeted us with a big smile and a warm good morning that we loved. Later, we ventured to the beach where we were greeted by Loxley. Loxley could handle any request you could dream of. He was ready to accommodate with towels, water, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc. To make a long story short, this resort is family friendly, spotless, and beautifully appointed. However, it would be nothing without the staff that we enjoy seeing year after year. If you should go you are in great hands when you see Loxley, Sharon, Bernard, Quensly, Jodesti, Gilbert, Reco, and Warren. The Somerset is a very warm environment. We return because of this and more than anything, the way they treat their own staff... like family and it shows! Truly the Somerset is perfection.

For our second trip to beautiful Grace Bay, we chose to stay at The Somerset and weren’t disappointed. We stayed in a one-bedroom residence, 7B. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast onsite at the Pavilion restaurant each morning. The Pavilion wasn't open for dinner during our stay. The beach bbq hosted by the Somerset was fun and we enjoyed the food, music and the fire show.

The 2 pools are very clean and the surrounding area is spotless. There are rafts/floats, resort towels and free sunscreen available for use poolside. There is also a poolside bar and grill with waiter service. The food was really good and we ate lunch here a few times. Try the grouper sandwich!

The beach is stunning, and in my opinion, the main draw of Grace Bay. No seaweed, no rocks and there is plenty of room on the beach for all guests. The Somerset provides lounge chairs, towels and umbrellas for their guests using the beach. There are also kayaks, Hobie cat sailboats, life vests, snorkel gear and sand toys for the kids for no additional charge. If you get the chance to go parasailing, the view is spectacular.

The kids enjoyed the Kid’s Club which is hosted by Miss Sharon. Miss Sharon was very attentive and the kids loved
spending time with her.

The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. We had a great vacation and will definitely considering coming back. If you are looking for a quiet stay at a beautiful location, The Somerset is worth checking out!
