We were recommended to try Crackpot Kitchen by the concierge at West Bay Club where we stayed (Excellent Hotel). We arrived to find a pleasant, garden setting with live music. I tried the Caribbean Jerk rack of lamb, which was succulent and flavorful, absolutely delicious. My wife had the "Drunken Chicken" which was a jerk flavored rock Cornish hen equally delicious. Both served with a savory sweet potato puree and crispy fresh vegetables.
Chef Nix the proud chef-owner of this newly opened establishment, came out of the kitchen and was graciously visiting tables with his broad smile and nice demeanor. Drinks were prepared creatively by the equally pleasant bartender Elpacino (yes that's his real name), who was kind enough to lay out my cabfare from his tip jar when my cabbie couldn't break a $100 for a $16 fare.
Great food, great service and an overall great experience at Crackpot Kitchen. We would visit this place again every time we are in the Turks and Caicos!
