“Wonderful add to the Provo dining scene! Don't miss it.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 14, 2013

Fresh, flavorful, properly prepared...... Great ingredients and the passion of the owners and the chef and sous chef are impressive. Fresh truffles? Bread that can't be beat. The wine is excellent. Service exceptional. We may go back again tonight for pizza night.

Nothing like it on Provo - probably wouldn't have been successful until now. I highly recommend a dinner or lunch (they close on Sept 15 for the season but come back in November.... and plan to add lunch.) I can't wait to eat the sandwiches they are planning with the fresh meats and cheeses from Italy and their house made bread.

Really, it is like finding a great little Italian bistro up the street from your hotel in Rome - but you get to be in Provo!

“Don't go feeling hungry”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2013

I'm not sure how this restaurant is going to stay alive. My husband ordered Raviolis for $20 he literally got 5 ravs on his plate. They were not at all as described on the menu. We are both Italian and never had ravs stuffed with blue cheese and no mozzerrela. I ordered the lasagna ($25) it was ok at best crunchy and soggy at the same time. Terrible terrible terrible. Portions were way way way too small and the price was way way way to high. Please go somewhere else and save your $

“Less than we expected.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2013

During our vacation this past August my wife and I had dinner at the Via Veneto Restaurant. Never wishing to write a poor review alas we are forced to warn people so that they can perhaps enjoy their dinner elsewhere. Without going into the dishes that we ordered, in general the portions were small, the presentation had much to be desired and the pricing did not match what you received. I think that the chef thought that by drizzling some sauce around the plate it made it more desirable. OR standing some skewered shrimp around a piece of fruit made it a presentable dish. Towards the end of the evening, we believe, the owner came over to ask how everything was...we didn't have the heart to really tell him the truth since we just wanted to finish our meals and go. We think that this is a new restaurant and perhaps it's going through some growing pains....
