I'm not sure how this restaurant is going to stay alive. My husband ordered Raviolis for $20 he literally got 5 ravs on his plate. They were not at all as described on the menu. We are both Italian and never had ravs stuffed with blue cheese and no mozzerrela. I ordered the lasagna ($25) it was ok at best crunchy and soggy at the same time. Terrible terrible terrible. Portions were way way way too small and the price was way way way to high. Please go somewhere else and save your $

During our vacation this past August my wife and I had dinner at the Via Veneto Restaurant. Never wishing to write a poor review alas we are forced to warn people so that they can perhaps enjoy their dinner elsewhere. Without going into the dishes that we ordered, in general the portions were small, the presentation had much to be desired and the pricing did not match what you received. I think that the chef thought that by drizzling some sauce around the plate it made it more desirable. OR standing some skewered shrimp around a piece of fruit made it a presentable dish. Towards the end of the evening, we believe, the owner came over to ask how everything was...we didn't have the heart to really tell him the truth since we just wanted to finish our meals and go. We think that this is a new restaurant and perhaps it's going through some growing pains....

Another couple staying at our hotel recommended this place. When we arrived they were almost closed but still welcomed us in. We were seated immediately and the extremely courteous service began. We chose from a very nice selection of wines.
The chef himself came out with the fresh selection of seafood for the evening. Everything liked delicious we let him decide. We began with a plate of fresh homemade lobster pasta. The pasta was cooked perfectly and lobster had been grilled to perfection. Our main course was a locally caught red snapper. It was so fresh it almost swam to our plate. It was grilled with fresh olive oil, salt, pepper and fresh vegetables. The waitress filleted it for us. It was white, flaky deliciousness.
The portions were so large we didn't have room for dessert. We wil have to go back a second time for that.
The service was friendly and on point. Not overbearing but not dismissive. They were extremely lnowledgab about the menu as well as the area.
We can't wait to go back with the kids next time !!
