Description: TURKS KEBAB, Doner kebab, literally "rotating kebab" in Turkish, is sliced lamb, beef or chicken, slowly roasted on a vertical rotating spit. The Middle Eastern shawarma, Mexican tacos al pastor and Greek gyros are all derived from the Turkish doner kebab which was invented in Bursa in the 19th century by a cook named Haci Iskender. Doner kebab is most popularly served in wrap and pita bread,...... As it is best... Known, with salad, but is also served in a dish with a salad and bread or French fries on the side, or used for Turkish pizzas called pide or "kebabpizza". Take-out doner kebab or shawarma restaurants are common in many parts of Europe. Doner kebab is popular in many European countries, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. Like other ethnic foods brought by travellers, the kebab has become part of everyday cuisine in many countries around the globe.

Service was great! Food was authentic! Vibe was chill! The owners of this hot little kebab spot really knew what they were doing bringing Mediterranean food to the British Virgin Islands. The food was served to perfection and so was the service. Filled with heart and soul, if you're into kebabs you'll love Turks Kebab for LIFE! Eat it - it's good for you!

The mixture of lamb & beef cooked slowly over a spit is so good. Yeat's in house prepared sauce is an excellent compliment to the meat. You get a very large flatbread sandwich big enough to split if you wish. The atmosphere is very casual and the service quick and friendly. I'll be back.

We stumbled across Turk Kebab on the way from the airport on our arrival. It just looked interesting. It is a small place with a deck out front under some trees. Very laid back. The woman who runs the place was friendly and efficient. I ordered a fish sandwich that was just spectacular. A lightly grilled fillet on fresh roll with onion slivers, lettuce and tomato was done very nicely. My friend had the fish salad which was the same lightly grilled fish fillet over a nice mixed green salad and vegetables. It was also very good. A couple cold beers rounded out a very pleasant stop at a surprisingly pleasant little restaurant. With a generous tip we were out the door for $50, which is pretty reasonable for the area. The food was well worth it. The quiet time under the trees even better.

Simple, good kabobs, tzikiki was ok, needed to be a little creamier. Chicken was moist. I would return in the future and try some other things - they were very nice as well!
