Cactus is a short distance inland from most of Grace Bay. Casual and great place with a lot of local flare. Lots of pod cakes running around (don't know what a pod cake is? you will learn once you hit the island and can even bring one home with you). Met the owner and really enjoyed the hangout for beers and a casual dinner.

We found this local spot after leaving the Grace Bay area and are glad we did. This was by far the best local food we had during our 7 day trip. Some must orders: conch fritters, steamed conch, mahi mahi fish appetizer, peas and grits and of course the rum punch. The staff was great and friendly and rushed or order so we could make our flight. Please stop and show this restaurant some love... They deserve it!

When we go to Providenciales we try to try new restaurants and seek out suggestions from the locals and other visitors. Sure glad we found the Cactus Bar & Grill on this trip! The owners, Angela and Greg, are present, hands-on, and incredibly friendly and attentive. We're not conch fans but Angela insisted we try some of hers (on the house) and she was right - - pretty good! LOVED the snapper and vegetables sealed in foil and cooked on the grill. Great casual setting near the Alexandra, where we were staying. Don't miss this local gem!

We stayed at the Sands and walked here for lunch 3 times during our stay. Angela and Greg were so wonderful, and the food was just as good. We had snapper, conch, chicken, everything was delicious. And their homemade vinegar sauce was perfectly tangy. We asked if we could purchase a bottle to bring home and they made one especially for us. The prices are very reasonable, especially for T&C. It's a little hidden gem, you may have to ask around for it, but worth the trip!
