We had a quiet day at this beach. Not crowded. Crystal clear water. We sat about 100 yards out in 10 inches of water and had a few adult beverages. Beautiful panoramic views, few homes, no bathrooms. My son was off bone fishing my wife and daughter worked on their tan. No complaints. Pack a lunch and take some drinks to enjoy this beach.

Taylor Bay is the best. It is very shallow out for over 100 meters. We kayaked over from Sapodilla Bay and loved wading out in ankle deep water at low tide. The sand is mostly free of grass and felt great to walk around in. The bay is most like a tidal pool. The kids loved walking around and splashing out in the bay. You also get a nice view of the sunset. The beach is very empty and the houses are set back a bit. Good combination of an empty beach without total isolation.

This is by far my favorite of all bays! You can walk out towards the sea forever and the water only comes up to your waist area. No matter what the weather is, the water here is very calm and clear. Great for kids but it is a great treat for adults as well. It is never crowded; the most I've seen were about 7 couples with few kids at the most, and usually you are there with maybe 2 couple on the beach. It is, however, little hard to find the first time. Turks and Caicos have really bad street signage and directions on the map so prepare to go back and forth looking for the entry the first time you go. Take my word for it, it is soooo worth it. There are no bathroom or restaurant on the bay. The closest restaurant is Las Brisas little down the road facing the Chalk Sound National Park which is a good place to go and have lunch looking out to the beautiful light green water color of Chalk Sound. Taylor Bay's sand is powdery white and there are lot of fishes in the water. It is just amazing to see the spectacular water colors changing every minute of the day. There was a big sting ray that glided thru one day and one couple were following it around. This is a breathtaking place where you can just relax and enjoy the view. It is a must do in Turks and Caicos!

Walk/swim out as far as you can. Crystal clear. Gorgeous sunsets! Much easier to get to than the West Harbor rocky beach.

Perfect trip to head to the other side of the island and keep taking roads to the left until you see the tennis courts and walk beside the house under construction. There was only 2 other people there and it was BEAUTIFUL! Combine that with lunch and drinks at Las Brisas on Chalk Sound and you have a wonderful half to full day on your hands!!
