I highly reccommend Beaches Turks and Caicos to everyone! We just got back and had a fabulous time. The place is gorgeous, the beach spectacular, the food incredible, and the staff could not have been nicer.

This was our second time at Beaches T&C, our third trip to a Beaches Resort. Everything was wonderful, we stayed in the Italian Village because it was being built last time we were there and we wanted to see it completed. The rooms are great... top notch! Nice to have the separate areas for the kids. We loved hanging out at Cricketer's Pub in the evenings. The pool was great, and we didn't have too much trouble getting chairs at the beach or the pool (although, tipping the pool guys helped, hint hint!), and the resort was full, being the week before Easter. We have two daughters, 13 and 14 yrs old, who had a ball at the teen activities/camp. We barely saw them all week! I have to say the resort should do a better job at advertising the various activities to the people staying in the Italian Village. We felt very "secluded" from the rest of the resort. Since this was a return trip for us, we knew where to go to find the fun. If we returned a third time, we'd probably stay in the Caribbean Village next time so that we could be closer to the "action". We like to have interaction w/the staff, and to get to know the people, it was a little harder to do being in the Italian Village. Also, the significantly higher prices, just weren't worth it to us since we really didn't spend that much time in our rooms. All of the employees were friendly and went out of their way to make you comfortable. The food was good... for an all-inclusive resort... the beach can't be beat... the whitest, powder soft sand I've ever seen... and the clearest, blue-est water ever! Just beautiful! We had nice weather too. Club Liquid was a hit for our teens, the waterpark wasn't as big of a hit as we thought for family. We were so worried about it possibly not being completed before our arrival, but in hindsight, it really didn't matter. It was nice... but our kids had enough other things to keep them entertained. I have to say that there really is not much to do on the island outside of the resort, so keep that in mind if you like to do excursions, or sightseeing, this place may not be for you. I would highly recommend Beaches T&C to anyone w/kids of any age. They know how to do it right! I have posted some photos. Feel free to contact me w/any questions.

T&C Island is the most beautiful place in the world!
We took our family for Spring Break and had butler service.
With Dwayne and Jeffrey we wanted for nothing! (The kids wanted to bring them home with us!)
We never left the beach. Thought about doing an excursion, but with sand and water like this, we couldn't leave the beach.

We loved our week at Beaches, Turks & Caicos. My husband and I traveled with our 16-year-old daughter, our 14-year-old son, my disabled mom and my 16-year-old nephew. We stayed in the Caribbean Village because it had the only handicap-accessible room on the entire property. The adjoining rooms were adequate in size for the six of us but the handicap room didn't offer a lot of room to navigate a mobility scooter. The room was also missing it's couch. It took four calls to the front desk to have them finally deliver a cot for my nephew to sleep on. The room was also missing the shower chair. Finally got that after several calls. The rooms were dated with old, worn furniture. The huge, clunky old televisions had major problems -- good thing we weren't there to watch TV. I found the beds to my satisfaction but the sheets left a lot to be desired: they kept coming off the bed when we slept. The rooms were clean and we were left with a plentiful supply of towels on a daily basis. We spent most of the week hanging out on the beach or the French Village Pool. The Pool directly behind the Caribbean Village's main building was not handicap accessible and, unfortunately, most of the daily activities were held there. C'est la vie. The French Village pool was never real crowded and we always found a spot in the shade. As other posters stated, the Italian Village pool is a zoo. Seats are reserved real early in the morning. We didn't bother so it wasn't an issue. I preferred the relative solitude at the French Village. The restaurants were all very good, much to our pleasant surprise. We enjoyed the Jamaican Hibachi chef at Kimono's. He was a lot of fun. The food at Mario's was good (especially the chocolate dessert!) but the service was very slow. We had a nice dinner on the deck at Schooner's but the host made my mom walk up the steps with our help -- later I found out there was a ramp in the back which was never pointed out to us! Breakfast buffets were generally good -- the best being at Mario's. My picky son loved Bobby D's where he could get french fries every day. But, the big surprise was how much he liked the Jerk Chicken at Arizona's. This kid usually never tries anything new! The Friday night beach party was a lot of fun and shouldn't be missed. The water park was a bit of a disappointment. The slides, the kids reported, were very slow. I guess they are designed for the younger set. Club Liquid for teens looked cool but no one actually went in. My daughter was disappointed. The boys loved the pool tables -- especially at Cricketers. They even learned how to play Snooker. My husband and I like Cricketers if only to get a decent beer! Everywhere on property, the beer choices are limited to Budweiser, Miller Lite and Turks Head. As beer drinkers: UGH. Kimono's did offer Kirin and Cricketer's had Guiness, Newcastle and Sam Adams. Better choices at least. The beach was beautiful with plenty of seat offerings in the shade. My son barely left the water when we were at the beach. We stopped by a few of the nightly shows and, let's just say, they should get some lessons from the cruise companies on how to do a show. Not very good. Would we go back again? Maybe. We like to travel and rarely go to the same place twice. If we do go back, I would upgrade to a larger room if my mom isn't traveling with us. We really did have a great time despite the minor complaints.
