“Great Family Vacation!”
Reviewed June 15, 2013

We had a great time and can not wait to go back. Amazing property with excellent service and great food for an all-inclusive!! We stayed in the Carribean and although it could use some updating we felt it was very clean and the location was great. We would like to say thank you to the Beaches staff for being so well organized and detail oriented. This allowed us to track a bag that was left in a taxi and have it delivered to the airport by a Beaches staff member within 30 mins. Very Impressive!!!
A few helpful things to know...
-If you have small children bring cups with lids. Most of the restaurants do not have lids and it gets old having drinks spilled in your lap by a 24 month old.
-When at the waterpark, pools or beach order pizza from Bella Napoli or Dino's about 30 mins before you are ready to eat, go back and pick it up for lunch by the pool. Good pizza and you don't have to pack the kids up.
-Bring an umbrella stroller. The rental ones are not always available and the cost is $10 a day.
-Sun lotion was $18 - 21 a bottle.
-Bring plenty of diapers. Regular diapers are $5 for 2 and a swim diaper is $5 for 1.
-If you plan to go for a night swim go to the pool by Arizona, it is heated.

We stayed at Beaches TC for 11 days and had a great time. There are so many things for the kids to do and our kids loved the kids camp. Check in was a breeze-we had 2 connecting rooms and upon check in (we were early 11am) one of our rooms was ready-score! We were able to leave our luggage in that room and head to lunch to wait for out other room. Restaurants were decent. DID NOT care for kimonos-our chef was dull and only sang 2 songs and the rest of the time was silent. We stayed in the Carribean village in a Suite and it was fine for us. Yes-the CV is older than the others but we were satisfied.

One complaint-dive shop. You are told something different by every employee. The orientation is a joke. It takes 5 min and basically they are trying to get you to spend money on different dives and certifications. They tell you to be there early for check in but tell you to sit down when you try to check in early.

Overall, great vacation. Very expensive though.

My husband & I stayed at Beaches Turks & Caicos May 18-24. We had a wonderful time and plan to return at some point. We tried to go before Memorial Day, hoping that it would be less crowded. We were spot-on. The pools & restaurants were not too crowded. It was perfect. We stayed in the French Village, which seemed to be the most quiet/laid back area, and we loved it. However, it wasn't far to head to a more "happening" area if we wanted. We liked all the restaurants we tried, especially Sopadilla's, Grill Bleu and Schooners. Kimonos was great too and a lot of fun. For breakfast, Reflections had the best buffet. Cafe de Paris was great for delicious treats! Bobby Dee's was not the best food, but good for a quick bite, ice cream, and has a great selection for kids.....and it stays open very late, which is awesome. We had great service overall and wanted to give shout-outs to our favorites: Samie at Reflections & Sopadilla's, Lukes at the French Village swim-up bar, Jessica at the French Village check-in desk and the sweet, beautiful and helpful girl at the culinary concierge desk. I can't remember her name, but wanted to acknowledge her because she was so helpful and always so pleasant to my husband and me. I think our only complaint during the trip was when I left a note asking for more Diet Cokes in the mini-bar in our room, it took a couple of days to get them. It wasn't that big of a deal though because we had plenty of bottled water they had left for us in the fridge & I could always get a Diet Coke at one if the restaurants or bars. The greatest thing about Beaches TCI is that there is plenty to see and do so you won't get bored and there's something for everyone. It's especially great for families & young kids. For an all-inclusive, we thought the food was great. The pizzas were delicious, by the way! We used the snorkeling equipment & kayaks and had great experiences with that as well. The beach and water is absolutely gorgeous! We had perfect weather during our stay. All in all, we had a fabulous time and would highly recommend Beaches Turks & Caicos.

We went to Beaches T&C with high expectations from June 4th-11th and for the most part the resort met or exceeded them. We have been to Beaches in Jamaica (Negril and what was Sandy Bay) several times but this resort surpasses the resorts in Jamaica in so many ways. First of all, it is a quick 10 minute ride from the airport to the resort as compared to 90 minutes to get to Negril. The resort itself is enormous and the landscaping was immaculate and clean. We stayed in the Caribbean Village and the location was quiet and centrally located. Room 230 was near to the Italian Village and across the street from the game room and a short hike to Bobby Dee’s for midnight munchies. Every day we had blue skies with lazy clouds and a steady breeze which was great for taking the hobie cats out and the guys running the fast cats got the adrenaline going. You are better off walking 10 minutes down the beach to snorkel than taking the snorkel boat. The reef area that they brought us to as not interesting had 2 foot swells which beat you up. The humidity was much lower than in Jamaica as well. The entire staff from the housekeeping to the servers to the grounds people seemed to go out of their way to ask us how we were. Especially fun were Chica and Kerri over at Sky in the Key West Village along with a server who goes by WOW. Amanda carves some delicious prime rib. While bartender Travis was good, Sharmaine is the BBC queen over in the Caribbean pool and she makes a mean chunky monkey; a drink she made up and we named. Mike the trainee also stood out but the man of the day was Charity the lifeguard who went out of his way to rescue a football off the roof! The clear turquoise water, white powder sand beaches and bright sunny days were exactly like a postcard. Our teenage boys had a blast and developed a taste for Beaches Caramel in the morning. The only downside to the trip was that in my opinion Beaches overdoes the catering to young children. For example, the Friday night Beach Party was nice but would have been great if they could have limited the Sesame Street show to an hour for the young kids and brought out a good Reggae band for the teens and adults to close out the evening. Bayside had singers in the evening by the fire pits, which was nice to relax to but not to dance. Overall, the beach is simply amazing and it was my impression that the staff really made an effort to make us feel not only welcome but also cared about. For this combination of location, service and price, I understand why so many people keep coming back year after year.

Room Tip: Caribbean rooms are more centrally located and the upper level French Village rooms do not appear to...

The Spa was great as almost everything at this hotel. If you like deep tissue, ask for Junel. The restaurents are great, the pools are great and all in all it was very relaxing...
Frech and italian village are newer than carribean but at the end it doesnt matter much since you'll never be at the room.

We just returned from a fabulous vacation at Beaches T&C. We were there June 2-9. This was our 2nd trip to Beaches but our 1st time using a travel agent, Mike McHugh with Dream Makers Vacation Services. Mike was very helpful with all of our pre-vacation questions, booked our dinner reservation for the Japanese restaurant before arriving and had a gift for us upon arrival. We will be using Mike again when we rebook.

Room:
We chose to stay at the Italian Village again. The IT is beautiful. We had not problems finding chairs to sit in at the pool. Our room was ground level and was a walkout room where we could walk right out to pool from our room. Our room (#3120) location was excellent. We were right by IT's lobby and very close to Caribbean Village.

Dining:
I typically do not care for all inclusive and/or buffets but these are much better than the average buffets you would get elsewhere. We were a little disappointed with our dinner at Kimonos. Our hibachi cook, Cookie, was a great singer but not really entertaining like we are used to. The dinner was very quick. They had us in and out of there in no time.

Excursion:
The only time we ever left the resort was to go on the Seashell Scavenger Hunt with Islands Tours. Mike McHugh recommended Island Tours for excursions. We all loved this excursions. Great for all ages. We found conch shells, sand dollars and large seashells.

We will be going back to Beaches for a 3rd trip in the very near future!!
