“My favourite meal on vacation”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2014 via mobile

We are a couple who ate dinner here in February. Everything about the meal was great. We ordered 1 chicken and 1 vegetable entree with 1 garlic naan to share and this was enough food for us. It was all delicious and well flavoured. The meal was a welcome change from the monotony of deep fried conch at other restaurants.

“Great Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 8, 2014 via mobile

Had an early dinner on Friday evening, food and service were excellent. Saag isn't on the menu but upon request they cooked up a great dish with Prawns. We also ordered a Masala with Prawns as well. Both dishes were outstanding. The Garlic Naan was very good too.

Ashley, the Manager, was very helpful explaining the nuances of their cuisine.

In short, we had great service as well as great food. We will definitely return!

“Sans Basmati...?!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 6, 2014

I was highly disappointed! As well as, the four others that I was with. The service was awful and the servers were completely rude. Some man, whom I assumed was a GM at the time was very short and disrespectful towards our group. We asked for water and they sent us one bottle of still water. We had 5 people in our group and we had to ask multiple times to get one more. They refused to give us tap water. The GM said "we don't give plain, tap water." The GM also cut the server off mid-sentence to take our order. Which he seemed overly annoyed by. But, no one could figure out why he did that.

Our food came out at a reasonably quick time...BUT, what Indian restaurant has anyone ever been to, where you have to ask for Basmati rice with your main dish? After inquiring about our main dishes and when the rice would be out, the servers said we had to order rice separate if we wanted it. I thought paying near $20 for Chicken Tikka Masala, one would be provided Basmati rice (I'm wondering at this point, would I ever go to an Italian restaurant and have to ask for noodles with my spaghetti sauce and meatballs?!). Each person received a $3 charge for the smallest plate of rice.

After dinner and the five of us being highly annoyed by our experience...our bill came. It was split into two checks (which again, presented as a problem for the workers). One bill was paid for by credit card, and the other bill was paid for by splitting it with cash and credit. The server thought the cash was a tip and the credit card was charged for the entire bill.

I would never recommend this place.

“Good Indian cuisine”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 5, 2014

I have been to several indian restaurants in different countries, and was quite surprise by the variety and quality of food in this restaurant in Provo. Nice ambience and affordable prices.
