Hey Jose has just came under new management after being closed for about 2 months and I must the standard of the food and the customer service is not up to par for a restaurant especially one that's in the Grace Bay area. I don't believe all items are made fresh everyday and taco shells and wraps have a tendency to be stale at times. There is no consistency in the quality of the food and the service is something left to be desired. I find the price of the food very reasonable but can't say the same for the beverages. For a business who has had an outstanding reputation on this island for years it is saddening to say the least that it's name is now remembered for poor quality food and less than exceptional customer service. With the proper training they can completely turn this restaurant around.

“Taco Bell is gourmet food compared to this”
Reviewed March 6, 2012

My wife and I tried Hey Jose's in spite of the mixed reviews. Big mistake - atmosphere was plain weird, food was badly prepared and just not fresh. With so much great food on the island, you really need to be some kind of masochist to eat here, or constipated. Avoid at all costs - this food is not made or served with love.

“go for the bucket of ritas”
Reviewed February 27, 2012

Nice little restaurant, with a cute little courtyard. Had the Jerk chicken wings to start - could have been a bit spicier, but tasty none the less. Then had a couple of chicken burritos - nice size, fresh, and filling. All of it went down with a margarita (more like 3) Staff was friendly and efficient - and the price was right for TCI.

“Deceiving”
Reviewed December 14, 2011

We ordered the Mediterranean pizza who tasted just garlic. While we waited, they offered us some chips and salsa...we thought it was complimentary but at the end we were charged 8$ for a bunch of tortilla chips and a bowl of salsa that we hardly touched. They only offer imported beers at 6.50$ and this is what we can name a local restaurant...very strange as everywhere else carries the very good local Turk's Head.We had planned to return to try other meals but that was our last visit.!
