Great location, beautiful beach, wonderful staff. Need I say more we had not one complaint. Everything was wonderful. Our suite was beautiful, very clean, kitchen very well equiped with everything you could possibly need to cook a meal. Graceway Gourmet Grocery Store within walking distance as were many restaurants. You can either walk to the restuarants on the beach or on the road. I highly recommend to families with small children as the ocean is so gentle and warm. We walked over to Avis one day and rented a jeep to take a ride around the island and check out Malcom's Beach, definately worth it. We also golfed a round at Provo Golf, very nice golf course and we got the round and rental clubs for half price (there were repaving the cart paths) so that was really worth it. Can't wait to go back with my whole family next year.

We recently stayed at the Marco Island Marriott so that is what we use as our standard for grading other resorts. OCW is very nice and may be the best resort for the money on the island. It is conveniently located along Grace Bay along with other 5-star resorts. Our 1-bedroom was generous with a nice sized kitchen. The owner should put in an LCD TV though (#525). Our wine bottle opener was broken so the front desk brought up a brand new one for us. The pool was awesome and we spent a lot of time there. You can walk to the Graceway Gourment grocery store in about 10 minutes. It has everything you need; however, food prices on the island are very high. I loved their roast beef hoagies which they made fresh each day. Presidente beer is very good also. You can rent a car at AVIS across the street from the grocery store. We rented a Daihatsu Sirion which worked out well taking us to and from the Conch Farm, Turtle Cove and other places. The beach at OCW is magnificent. At the front desk, you might be greeted by Rochelle. She is absolutely outstanding with her helpfulness. Seaside Cafe has an excellent breakfast tortilla with sausage. The cafe has complimentary chili and rum punch on Tuesday at 4PM. It is so good that I had several bowls. I recommend the Tiki Hut on Wednesday nites for dinner. That is BBQ chicken and ribs nite. Dinner at Hemingways for 3 will cost over $100 but it had really good food. The Diner at The SaltMills had good food at more resonable prices.

We just returned from an amazing week in T&C at the Ocean Club West. We used Trip Advisor extensively for our vacation and the reviews were very accurate!

The hotel is more of a condo which was terrific for a family of four. We stayed in a one bedroom suite that was very large and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay including washer and dryer, one and a half baths, fully equipped kitchen and two balconies that provided a really good cross breeze. The daily maid service was excellent and the room was very clean. This is not the newest hotel on the island and definately not the most expensive. It is however expertly maintained - the gardens and pool area are beautiful.

The seaside cafe provided good value and the food was excellent. The Monday night rum punch reception was a wonderful way to meet other guests - careful though they really use rum although it didn`t taste like it (until the next day!) We spent a fair bit of time alternating between the most beautiful beach in the world and watching the World Cup and Wimbledon at the cafe and swimming in the pool. Our kids had a great time snorkeling and playing tennis. The beach in front of the OCW is the best on the strip - very wide and deep.

We would definately return and stay here. What a week!

The trip was taken by me and my daughter and my brother and his son. It was perfect from beginning to end!!
We have taken extended family vacations all around the Caribbean, but this was hands down the winner with all of us.
The beach: Powder white sand abounds!!!! No rocks on the sand, beach relatively sparse with people (very enjoyable).
The walk into the ocean: Again, NO ROCKS!! There was no need to wear water shoes,it was great!! We saw plenty of starfish close to shore and even a curious barracuda!
We stayed in Sea Angel #122, it was a two bedroom but could have been a three bedroom (with a lockout) if we had gone with more family. We were close to the beach, across from the pool and you could view the sunsets from the outdoor balcony. It was perfect. We got a chance to meet the owners of our condo and they were absolutely incredible!! The sweetest, nicest couple you will ever meet!!
The Staff: Very friendly, went out of their way to meet your needs. If you come thinking they are not friendly...try talking to them. They are shy,but once you talk ,they will engage you in convesations!! You cant call them rude if you never really talk to them and not "down " at them.
We had rented a car and found the location of Ocean Club West really voided the necessity for a car, because it is close to a grocery store and restaurants. Although renting a car for a day or two to explore the island would be a good idea.
My brother and his son got scuba certified and fell in love with the island.

My wife and I spent 5 nights at the Ocean Club West last week and loved everything about it. We had a suite on second floor of building E with balconies in front and in back. The grounds are immaculate, well-maintained, and very attractive. My wife loved the wrap around pool with its bridges. The food, drink and service at the Seaside Cafe was excellent and having two TVs for the World Cup games was a big plus. The beach is very wide and never felt crowded.

We especially enjoyed the central location and were able to walk to outstanding meals at Coco Bistro, Caicos Cafe, and Bella Luna. The Gourmet Grocery store is also close and has to be the cleanest grocery store that we have ever seen.

We stayed at the Regent Palms 2 years ago and although we enjoyed our stay, we felt that at a savings of $1000, we had a much better view, much more squarefootage in our suite (as well as the 2-screened porches) and all employees of the resort and its Cafe were very pleasant and competent. Especially after reading the last 2 reviews of the Palms we are very glad that we made the choice that we made.

We highly recommend and will be back.

Great facility. 5th trip to T&C, 4th stay at OCW. We had stayed previously in Jr. Suite, One Bedroom, and Studio. All for different stays, budgets, and trip headcount.

This trip we stayed in the 3 bedroom, with 2 families-4 adults and 3 kids (ages 11, 11, and 14). When we arrived, the 3rd bedroom A/C wasn't working (3rd BR is the lockout studio-a master suite with bath and mini-kitchen). This layout worked perfectly for all of us! We made a couple of trips to the local grocery for breakfast, lunch, and snack items with the game plan to dine out in the evening. OCW is convenient to more than enough local restaurants. Having stayed there before, we tried to avoid cab trips with 7 people in tow-cab rides are charged per person in T&C.

Part of the group did Provo Ponies horse ride and really had fun. Several did the parasail and had a blast. In addition, the whole group did SNUBA T&C and had a lifetime experience.

OCW is a great place to stay. The staff is friendly and responsive. We really enjoy the screened in patios...we've never had problems with bugs, but it's good to avoid any problems.

Our family of 5 adults and one 9 month old Baby stayed 7 nights at Ocean Club West. We had Unit 535 which is a 2 Bed / 2.5 Bath Loft Unit. It also included a Full Kitchen, Dining Area, Living Room and 2 a huge Balcony at each end of the Condo.

The Loft units, of which there are only 4, are 3rd floor units. Because of this, they were able to give the unit beautiful Cathedral Ceilings with white beams. This gave the unit both a very spacious feel but also a vary "Carribean" feel. The other great thing about the loft unit is that the 2nd Master Bedroom is upstairs, so it gives a nice separation from the rest of the group. For this reason, it is perfect for a group like ours, but would also be great for couples traveling together.

The Balccony off of the living room was a key "Hangout" spot for us. It has a great view of the pool which is right in front of the unit as well as the rest of the lush grounds leading right down to the ocean. This balcony also has seating for 4, a chaise lounge, a ceiling fan on the cathedral ceiling and oh yeah.....it is completely screened, so you never have to worry about mosquitoes while you sip on a cocktail and listen to the palms!

Amenities in the unit are plentiful and include these items and many more: 32' Flat Panel TV, TV in each Bedroom, Washer and Dryer in the unit, Full Kitchen with all service utencils, Dining Table , Breakfast Bar, Dishwasher ect. ect.......

The Grounds of the Resort were very lush and well cared for. The pool was our daily routine and was great for both the adults and the baby. The water temp was such that we could just float for hours (with sun-block). The Seaside Cafe offered lots of food and beverage options including Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner or just a cold cocktail to cool off. The Cafe is only steps from the beach and offers very good food as well as a great view. There are also 2 Gas Webber Grills in the pool area, so we were able to grill one of our dinners while sitting in the pool area.

The Beach......Wow! Centrally located on a stretch of Grace Bay Beach and it is incredible! The sand is powder white and the water is a myriad of "Blues" that are absolutely gorgeous. The water is warm and crystal clear, so the choice is to sit poolside or oceanside.....rough choice!

We were able to walk to multiple restaurants while we were there....Danny Bouys (Irish Pub), Hemmingways, Anacaona, Pizza Pizza and a few other places. There are quite a few shops along the way, so you can easily get what you might need for gifts or sundries. Graceway IGA is about a 20 minute walk, so you can even do your grocery shopping for the meals you prepare in the unit.

Our stay was seamless and we will be back many times! Unit 535 was a great location and the "Loft" was definitely the way to go for us.

Way to go Ocean Club West!
