I have food allergies (spices), Nick and Peter are extremely helpful. Be SURE to talk with them personally -- other staff often think you might be saying A when you are saying B.

I don't think this restaurant gets enough credit. The food and drinks here are very good and the staff very friendly.

We stayed at the West Indies Resort the last 3 nights of our stay and we were pleasantly surprised by this little restaurant. While it is on the resort, it is open to anyone and the bar is open quite late with food as well. The bartenders took a bit to warm up, but are good and efficient and make strong drinks when requested. Great mojitos.

The restaurant has fairly typical cuisine and it isn't anything special, but considering how disappointed we were with the entrees from some of the most expensive restaurants on Provo, "Pelican Bay" was consistent.

However, the jerked chicken on Sunday "Local's Night" is absolutely, fantastic. Incredible, better then any I had in Jamaica.

Service at the restaurant isn't amazing, but they are very pleasant, just sometimes a bit hard to find. However, we never experienced it that bad but witnessed a fair amount of annoyed people. Maybe they hadn't been there as long as us and weren't on island time yet.

The restaurant is also about 150 feet from the ocean, so it's very easy to step out with your cocktail in a "To Go" cup and stroll down the beach. They also had music some nights (a guy singing with a keyboard, but he was pretty good).

We just arrived home from a stay at the Royal West Indies esort where the restaurant is located. M husband and I had dinner there twice and went for cocktails a few times. The bartender (Mario) makes a great drink and if you go at Happy Hour between 5-7 all of the drinks are 2 for the price of one. The Mai Tai's were good and strong and they make a great rum punch as well as a turks and caicos drink, We enjoyed them all very much. There is a good selection of cocktails from which to choose from.
We both had the fish and chips which were very good. . Another night we just had an appetizer of conch fritters and a pizza. The fritters were delicious served with a tasty dipping sauce and the pizza was just o.k. If you ordered your food from the bar area you were served very quickly but the restaurant service could be a little slow. You had a view of the gardens and the pool which is very nice.
