“Nice atmophere, mediocre food.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2013

We're staying in the Taylor Bay Area so we had to check this place out based on location (closest and only restaurant in this area). Like all the previous reviewers the view of Chalk Bay is beautiful (unforutnlatey, we went at night so couldn't see that much). Fish ceviche was awesome, though the portion was very small. Greek salad was good too - good dressing. I had grilled snapper with creole sauce - sauce was yummy, snapper really overcooked, veggies not cooked enough and no seasoning - pretty tasteless and I'm a veggie lover. Considering this is an island you'd think the chefs would know how to cook fish. So far, every restaurant I've been to except the local places have overcooked my fish. This place was no exception. Service was good, food was overpriced like everything on this island but at least the food was okay. I would recommend going for lunch.

“The view, the food, the change in pace ...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 1, 2013

I'm not sure whether it's the food, the view or just the change of pace from the main tourist area but whatever it is - a trip over to Las Brisas is well worth it!

We have been visiting Las Brisas for a few years now and it's nice to comment that it is still as good as ever. If you plan your day to fit in a trip in their boat around the lake then ask them at the time of making your reservation (this is chargeable), We tend to visit Las Brisas for lunch as part of a trip out around the island but I'm sure evening dinner is always good.

Good value for a quality meal and well worth the taxi ride.

“Must stop for lunch or dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 1, 2013

Beautiful setting with great views. For the money, I think it was outstanding. Might be a good stop for lunch if touring the island.Nice bar, service overall was also excellent.

“Food matches the View”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 30, 2013

With family living in Provo, we've travelled there several times and always make a point to stop and visit this amazing place. For those staying along the popular stretch of Grace Bay, you'd need to rent a car as Las Brisas is located on the south side of the island on the shores of Chalk Sound - with the most amazing chalky white-blue waters you've ever seen. The menu here is varied and you'll find something for everyone. One of our faves is the Beef Wellington - so tender and juicy.
All the dishes are generous in portion size and come with a good variety of fresh vegetables. They also have great seafood & pasta dishes, and the bar at the front makes some awesome drinks. After dinner you can wander down to a tiny beach where there's a intimate seating area with a firepit. This is the perfect little spot to enjoy the amazing view of the water and an after dinner drink. I almost don't want to share this as I fear it will be too busy to receive us on our next visit. Really great experience - and the staff are great too.

“Go here for the view...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

Las Brisas has the most beautiful setting for a dinner, we managed to end up going when it was raining and it still made for a sweet setting.

If you sit at the deck on the end it feels like you are in the water, it is quiet and calm away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the restaurant. The food was the same as every other family priced restaurant you would meet on the way down, it was quick to arrive and warm when it reached us.

The service was a bit lackluster, however we concluded that the waitress simply didn't want to be in work that day. This place has so much more potential to be something great if they looked after it and revised the menu,

As mentioned in many reviews, go here for the views but don't take a special trip for the food.
