Its a little difficult to find, down a dirt road. It is definitely worth looking for. A unique view of another part of the island. Omars is not exactly on the beach, more like a bay area. The food and service was excellent. Omar was out and about mingling with the customers,,nice touch. We both had lobster and it was delicious and generous portions. We were not able to stay that evening but I believe they have live music on a regular basis.

Recommended by the guys at Turks Head Brewery ... and they were right. The road is bumpy and the signage is not huge so take your time. Everyone was nice and friendly, including Omar, who stopped by a couple times to see how things were. Great island vibe right on the beach/water. Our group of 4 had the fried conch and nachos for appetizers and then a cheeseburger with fries, jerk fish tacos and jerk fish wrap with plantains (x2). Our doggie bag had one taco and the equivalent of one wrap and some fries in it. Everything was great. We also had their homemade dessert, which reminded us of gingerbread but better. Prices were reasonable for everything but the dessert, which was $12 - way too much for the portion size. Thanks for a great experience! We would definitely go back.

Omar said his goal was to bring great food to a beach setting & we'd have to say he has succeeded. Well worth the drive here.

Just got back from my visit to Turks and Omar’s was one of the highlights for sure! Omar made everyone feel like family. It started raining while we were there and everyone crowded in the bar area to escape the rain. Omar stood in the door to block the rain. Everyone raised their glass in a toast like we were all one big group. After the rain passed, the food came out and it was fantastic. And the mojito is the best on the island! The view is second to none, so I recommend going early before the sun goes down. You’ll wonder if you’ve made a huge mistake while driving on the road in to where Omar’s is located because you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. However, once you arrive, you will be so glad you did! Enjoy!

Omar and Sonya were wonderful people-very welcoming. The food was fantastic (I had the jerk fish wrap and fried plantains) and the ambience was perfect. A little hut right on the beach. We will definitely be going back!
