Saltmills has been my favorite breakfast location for years. Located in the Saltmills Plaza across from Regent Plaza also serves lunch and dinner, but quite frankly the local competition for finer dining in the evening is a deterent. However if you are looking for a great american style breakfast and good service you can't beat Saltmills. You can order from a selection of eggs, omlets, pancakes and about anything else you can imagine. The nice thing is that they server breakfast at any time, other stop at 10:30 or 11AM, not Saltmills.

Look for Diansa who has been a server there for years and will remember you when you come back for future visits.

The food at Saltmills is very basic and bland. There is nothing special at all about it, and it is average at best. This, along with average service and an array of food items out of stock, is why I am rating it so low. The food prices are cheaper than average but not necessarily as cheap as you would expect. The one good thing about the place is that it is one of the few places in the area that seemed to be open all day (for breakfast, lunch, or dinner). So, there is a convenience factor, but I would stay away from it if possible.

I have to concur with Laura. Excellent service. We went every day for breakfast. We too were getting our drinks brought to us as soon as we sat down. Food was great. Service was great. Lots of choice for breakfast, never got there for other meals but the menu also looked great for other meals as well. A little pricey but this was big breakfast and as was said Turks overall is a little pricey. Great place! Definitely would go back as we did every day for breakfast!

So this place has become a fast favorite for us every time we visit Provo. Very well priced, huge portions, fast seating, you can walk in straight off the beach if you choose so it is casual. I could eat the grouper every meal-really really great grouper, not overseasoned, cooked perfectly-large portion!! This last time through Provo we ate there at least 6 times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For breakfast, my very hungry hubby loves the Big Breakfast, I went for the pancake Stacks, also a huge portion. Pancakes were REALLY good. For lunch, we like the burger, the chicken caesar wrap, club, pizza. For dinner/lunch ideas, any of the fish dishes are excellent-fish and chips are also really good, and of course grouper, also bangers and mash. I also had a jerk chicken quesadilla which was a special, and it was delicious. Waitresses are a hoot, really great gals, they always remember us when we visit. Highly recommend!

We decided to try this place only because there were a half-dozen local people eating inside; usually a good sign, right? I ordered the grouper and was pleasantly surprised (see photo, it looked even better in person). It was fresh and well-prepared, served with with rice and vegetables. I couldn't have asked for more. (As with other restaurants, you might think that the prices are a little high, but after a trip to the supermarket we figured out that the menu prices aren't that bad after all -- a loaf of bread at the store was $8.99).
