The Caribbean Paradise Inn is a lovely spot tucked away just minutes from Grace Bay Beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable with everything that a budget traveler needs: fridge, beach towels, and simple breakfast all included. We had several calm meals on the balcony overlooking the pool surrounded by bougainvillea blossoms. The picture-perfect beach is just a short walk away, and there is a variety of restaurants of all types at neighboring hotels and at several shopping plaza’s in the area. The best thing about this hotel though is its staff. Wen, Beverly, and the owner, Jean-Luc were always helpful and friendly. They really did everything they could to make our stay a wonderful one!

Ahhh... perfect Caribbean-Colonial style Inn with all the comforts of a home-away-from home. From reception and check in to lazy indulgences of wine on my secluded patio - this will be the place I stay each and every time I come to Provo (Providenciales).
My father owns several properties at which I have been fortunate to stay at in the past. I've even been treated to 5 star luxury (at the Grace Bay Estates), and although breathtaking, the Caribbean Paradise Inn is still my first choice....and here's why:
Accomodation: I stayed in room #8, right inside the quaint entrance. My exteneded patio entitled me to perfect seclusion, while the muffled sounds of the adjacent Coyaba restaurant gave a homey feel. The room was clean, the bed was enormous and comfy, and the a/c was set at a perfect temperature.
Staff: Wenn greeted me at reception and was both accommodating and professional. But the surprise was Jean-Luc: Owner Extrodinaire! We shared fanciful tales of island happenings over tequila at lunch, and wine at sunset! On my last full day - I invited him to lunch, but, being the sole staff overseeing the front desk, he offered to barbeque for us instead. What a special treat! Rum punch and bbq'd chicken were fabulous, as well as his company.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel at the highest level to anyone who likes the comfort of hospitable staff and service. Even if you are accustomed to four star or better, this hotel is without pretense while maintaining professionalism and charm.
Excellent choice for first or tenth time Provo traveller.
Merci Jean-Luc.

We recently experienced our first trip to Turks and Caicos and stayed at the Caribben Paradise Inn, in part based on reviews we had read. We enjoyed our stay there and we would stay there again in the future. The inn is small and has a Bed and Breakfast feel. The room was clean and comfortable. Things we liked was that it had a mini-fridge, coffee set (though we took our own coffee from home), an in-room safe, and a balcony which we used frequently. They do have AC, but we did not need it during our stay. Some of the furnishings were older but satisfactory. The bed was clean and comfortable. There is maid service every day. Ice is available upon request.
If you budget conscious and are seeking a no-frills place to stay, like we were, then we can recommend this inn.

Everyone on staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. The owner / manager Jean Luc was ever present taking care of the place and ensuring all guests were happy. "Wen" ran the front office and she too was very helpful, friendly and sincere. She often acted as a "concierge" and went out of her way to make our stay at the inn and on the island comfortable. Jean Luc even had a small "rum-punch" and snacks gathering Sunday night to thank the guests. He is a fun and wonderful host.

They offered a more than adequate continental breakfast that is served on an outdoor garden patio. The patio was beautifully landscaped and well maintained and very clean.
They had coffee, hot water and tea, a variety of cereals, fruits, toast (that you make yourself), butter and jam, milk, juice and fresh pastries. A portion of the breakfast is served to you by a hostess. Not everything is placed out on the buffet table in the open. They wait for you to arrive and chose a seat, then come to take your order. It was very well done. We liked it, however, if you need a hot fancy breakfast (with meat) then you would want to eat at nearby resorts. Being on the patio also allows you to casually mingle with other guests and exchange tour and snorkel/dive information which was helpful.

We had read some reviews about possible restaurant noise. There is a small upscale restaurtant on the premises. While there was some occasional noise, it was obtrusive and did not bother us and we stayed in a room close by. It is fine dining, so it is relatively quiet.

Some things to know. They do not have drinkable water in the rooms, but do provide commercially purifed water via a water cooler in the breakfast area. Also, it does take a few minutes for the hot water in the shower to warm up - just give it time. Plus, they conserve water so they have low flow showers. There is a soda machine and coin operated washer/dryer available. The inn office has no lobby, just a walk up window.
The inn is about a 4-5 minute walk to the beach on safe sidewalks on a quiet street. The resorts are required to provide beach access. The closest access is through the beautiful Grace Bay Club, and upsacle resort.

Other notes about the trip. There are serveral restaurants within less than one mile walk of the hotel. It was easy finding a different place each night. The Ports of Call and Saltmills shops are also close. Also, an outstanding new bakery just opened up very close by. A large grocery store is under construction nearby and should be open by summer 2009. This will be a huge bonus for anyone in the Grace Bay area. There are nice safe sidewalks throughout this area so it made walking pleasant.

We had read about trips with "Sail Provo" but could never book a trip despite repeated tries. They apparently did not have enough customers to make up a trip, and we got the impression they didnt try too hard either. We ended up going with "Dive Provo" for our snorkel trip. Thier store is in Ports of Call. They were friendly and helpful and it was a great trip. They will pick you up and drop you at your hotel - which they did for us, even at the very last minute. We would use them again.

As far as affordable local restaurants within walking distance, our favorite was The Saltmills Cafe and Diner. Friendly staff. Clean. Quality food at a reasonable price. We ate there twice for supper and once for a mid-morning smoothie. They also have music on Friday nights. Its a fun place.

We can also recommend Tropical Auto Rentals. We had read so much about Grace Bay Rentals, but they were sold out. We found all of the staff at Tropical friendly and helpful. When we inquired about a AAA discount (which they dont give) the manager gave us a good discount off their first quoted rates. We got a new car at a good price, plus they picked us up and dropped us off. We would use them again as well.
If you have never been to TCI, you should rent a car for at least a few days so you can tour the island and visit the other public beaches - which are nearly impossible to find due to lack of signs, but worth it if you make the effort. You can also drive to other "famous" restaurants. I liked Horse Eye Jacks the best of these.

We determined that almost any of the hotels along Grace Bay are likely to be nice. It just depends on how much you want to spend. There is lots of construction going on everywhere on the island, including Grace Bay. It does not matter where you stay, you are likely to experience some construction. There was currently none occurring next to out hotel during our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Caribbean Paradise Inn and would stay there again. We are no-frills travelers and like small, clean and affordable places. While this hotel may not be fore everyone, we liked it. Besides exploring a beautiful island, the Inn staff continously offered "service with a smile" and made us feel welcome, which contributed greatly towards our relaxing vacation.

I'm not of those kind of people who like big resort and overluxurious place. But i'm not a backpacker either (I used to, but well, we all get older...). I'm the bed and breakfast type. Comfy, human-size hotel, with a personnal touch, if possible. Which is why I choose the Caribbean inn from their website. And it's exactly what it is.

This place is a small size hotel (16 rooms), nice, flowery and quiet. I particularly appreciated for the friendliness of the staff, their initative - offering to book a car or a diving trip for you, organizing small gatherings/happy hours to meet the other clients, allowing you to get breakfast after the prescribed hours, giving tips on where to go and what to explore...

I think it is an overall good value (dont misunderstand me ; it's not cheap - around 160$/night, but it's among the cheapest you'll find on the island for that category). It is attached to one of the best restaurant on the island (again, not cheap, but really good). It does not overlook the beach but it is literally a 2-min walk from Grace bay, the main and most crowded beach on the island. You might want to rent a car to explore the surroundings and the quiet, desert and pristine beaches you'll find there.

I would definitely warmly recommend this place to all my friends.

this is a very small and familiar hotel. It consists of two buildings, each of them with 8? rooms. It is very clean, the stuff is very friendly and Jean Luc, the owner, is somebody, you can talk to and have fun. He is french, and mixes french and english language, so that it was a bit difficult for me - I am from Germany - to understand. But nevertheless it was fun.
The rooms have everything we needed, bath with shower, air condition, ventilator, balkony or patio, fridge.
We were so lucky, not to have booked in one of these large hotel towers, where each time you want to go to the beach, you must use the elevator. By the way: the hotel does no lie direct to the beach, you have to walk for about 500 meters.
And for those who decide to stay there: two tipps for cheap dinners:
1.) Jimmys dive bar located at Port of Call (can be reached by foot)
2.) Cultural Market Place near Club Med (is a little bit more to go)
at least: if Jean Luc should read this recomandation: beaucoup merci pour une superb vacance (very bad french ?)

First time in Provo also.
First, we were greeted by Rowena, she showed us our bright & sunny room. Perfect. Everything described on the website was there. Every morning, we were served by Beverly, always charming, smiling & helping to start our morning. Breakfast consists of orange juice, coffee, tea, toast, jelly & peanut butter, pastry (some variety), apples, bananas, pineapples, oranges, cereals, ham & cheese. Quite frankly, it was more than we have at home but we felt it was more than sufficient to start the day for us. Room was always clean, Rowena was always there to greet us with professional manner. The garden is also appreciated, the balcony as well. it was quiet, air con. was working perfectly allthough we did not really need it the first 4 days of our stay due to cold weather. Needless to say, we really enjoyed the place, staff was wonderful and location was perfect for us.
Jean-Luc the owner, make us feel even more close to home because we could communicate in our first langage : french.
Thank you so much.

I just got back from a week-ong stay at Caribbean Paradise Inn in Grace Bay and my family and I had one of the most memorable and relaxing vacations in recent memory. We love the Caribbean and have been all over but this is one of the most charming and customer-service oriented hotels around. The rooms are clean and cute. The breath-taking beach is just a 4 minute walk on a flower-lined sidewalk and going to the ocean was the highlight of each day. There are restaurants within walking distance, within all price points, that serve gourmet food comparable and surpassing that of restaurants in the States. Do not hesitate to book a stay with this hotel, they treat you as family and we will definitely return in the future!

  • Liked — Charming, clean and comfortable
  • Disliked — That we had to leave paradise at the end of our vacation!
