Owner description: A beautiful lagoon made up of brilliant blues and rocky cliffs.

Went to see Chalk Sound while in T & C and that area sustained a lot of damage due to the recent hurricanes. Damaged homes are being repaired slowly. beaches are good but homes are not. Loved T&C even with the damage from the hurricanes.

Not much in Chalk Sound. Mostly a body of water between strips of land that one can see while landing at PLS.

I came her with my family including a baby. The water depth is about chest deep. The waves are very calm so this makes it a good place for babies/small kids and amateur paddle boarders.
They have rentals for jet skis, kayaks and paddle boards. The prices are a little high for them so expect that if you plan to rent. The vendors there also rent out chairs and umbrellas. They tried to have us pay $10 for the chair and $20 for umbrella, but eventually offered it to us for $20 for both.

There are no places for lunch since the beach is in front of some private villas and not restaurants.

We had a really good time for a few hours.

My husband and I drove through the residential area that borders Chalk Sound. There are a few places to pull off where you can easily take pictures. Our original plan was to eat at Las Brisas because we were told the views were amazing, but it was still closed (this was the beginning of November).
