Off the beaten path. Surrounding by luxury homes. Some parts of chalk sound are stunning, however towards the end it's not so nice.
Best part is finding Taylor Bay along the drive.

Definitely would recommend seeing this. The water is beautiful bright turquoise color. The only problem is that there isn't a place close enough to it to stop and look. We stopped on the side of the road in a dirt and rock area overlooking it.

Awesome view of the Sound from Las Brisas. It is ashame you cant really do anything other than look at it. It is well worth a visit here and las brisas and taylor bay for the day

Chalk Sound is beautiful. You will need a car to get there. It takes about 15-20 minutes from Grace Bay. Take Chalk Sound Drive to Ocean Point Drive, turn left and you will see a small parking area on your right with a sandy path. The beach is quite massive with no shade or facilities. Bring your own drinks, towels and shade if possible. This beach is perfect for families. The water is extremely shallow with no waves. It is only up to your knees for several yards. The sand is like powder. I would only spend a couple of hours here if you have no shade. A couple we met, rode their bikes there from Grace Bay, but they found it too far, especially in the heat. The water is very warm.

Chalk Sound was very beautiful and worth the drive over. We took a Vespa over to this part of the island and as you get higher in the hills the scenery is breath taking. Would love to own a home on Chalk Sound one day!!
