This is a rather small park or to us it is, compared to what we considet to be a national park here in the states. There was a bathroom, but it was not clean and had flies. The beach is long but not cleaned the way Grace Bay is. This is a fairly good place to snorkel and there is plenty of parking also.

You have to snorkel Coral Gardens and Smith
's Reef! Beautiful beaches and great snorkeling. You can rent snorkel gear at the coffee shop in Turtle Cove or Coral Gardens.

Looks like a good place to snorkel, with easy access to the coral reefs. Many more corals reefs are visible. Restaurants & hotels line the area as well. Some with not so much beach front but nice to walk the waters and perfect to watch the sunset. It's protected so you need to be cautious and especially if you are not on a guided swim.

Public trails and beaches make it easy to slip into the waters meter from the various reefs in the park. Check out Smith's Reef near Turtle Cove, access via Coconut Road or Smith's Reef Road. At each end there is a public access to the beach.

Coral Gardens is one of the best snorkeling spots I've ever seen! Don't miss it. Beach entry..snorkle the entire LOOP. It gets better on the outside (furthest point from beach). If you don't scuba..this is almost as good. Plaques on the ocean floor point out interesting coral & sea specimens. Ropes and buoys protect the reef from humans damaging them. Pristine spot. Great Mexican restaurant on the beach to enjoy afterwards:)
