I didn't stay at the Northwest Point Resort but I was curious to see it and evaluate for our next trip, so we drove out there. Road was unpaved gravel, less than 10 mins drive from paved road to the resort. Resort was only one on the beach, looked pretty, beach was choppier than Grace Bay (where we stayed) and seemed to contain a lot of weeds, but it was a lovely, empty stretch of beach, good walking and certainly no hordes of other tourists. I didn't see the rooms, so can't comment on those. Seemed like a good place to have some alone time.
