“Beautiful, Private, Natural”
Reviewed July 31, 2012

Northwest Point Beach was beautiful! We went to an off-the-beaten-path location to enjoy the drive and snorkel. The road out to the beach is rough - unpaved with huge pot holes. If you are a hearty soul and can stand the bouncing, the trip is worth it for a quiet location. There were only four or five other people at the beach. Snorkeling was worthwhile, though getting in and out was a bit of a challenge.

“nice property but far from everything”
Reviewed July 4, 2012

depends on what you like... standard condo hotel with little amenities and lives up to its name, with the only word missing before it is FURTHEST as it is a good 20+ min drive to anything but is very nice - clean and safe

“The sea was angry that day my friends...”
Reviewed July 2, 2012

...like an old man trying to send back soup at the deli".

We drove to the resort one day to check out the beach. Keep in mind that the resort itself was lovely, and not a soul to be found, except a friendly gardener. We walked out to the beach and it was quite windy, not like where we had just come from, Grace Bay. The water was a mix of the most vivid blue and green that I had ever seen, and the waves were wild. It was a bit eerie and we joked about this being a good site for a horror movie. If you want solitude, this would be your place to visit. As we walked back to our car, we sat a large potcake with a face and ears like a Great Dane, one ear straight up and one down. The potcake was sitting in the pool. What a site! I could not get a photo, but took one of the beautiful dog just as he had gotten out of the pool. Take the drive, it's a great island to tool around, especially after a lunch and ice cream!
