I played 3 rounds on my holidays, I found the course intimidating at first with the narrow fairways,, all of the water and the prevailing trade winds, After my second and 3rd rounds I discovered the landing zones and was able to adjust accordingly, dropping my scores quite a bit.
The course is beautiful with plenty of birds and lizards running around.. the water is lovely and the layout is quite interesting and challenging.. I found the staff in the proshop , the starting area and the lounge to be very friendly and accomodating. I was impressed with the laid back approach and there was never a crowd on the course. Apparently the course is subsidized heavily by a rich arab prince,, so it is well maintained and well taken care of for a course that is used so little. I think the local members are a bit spoilt by it all 8-)
