We stopped at the Conch farm one day while we were touring the island. It's a short scooter or car ride from the Grace Bay Beach area.

The fee is $12 to enter and the tour isn't too extensive. This is a non-profit farm and they informed us that most of the conch is farmed to ship over seas. They show you how the conch grow then show you conch at different life stages. The tour wraps up with their two pet conchs that you can hold and/or touch.

This tour is well suited for persons who have an interest in animals. The tour is well informed and quite relaxing. Included in the tour are views of many beds with various sized conchs- much of which surprised me.
The tour should take less than an hour.

It is a good trip for first hand information.
Persons living on island are allowed in for free so go ahead and take your visitors along.

It is not a fun adventure so do not expect to have a ball.

Wanted to go here to see and learn about what I had been eating. At $ 12 a person it wasn’t worth it. Tour lasted about 15 minutes and was over before I knew it. They were hit by a hurricane back in 2008 and I hope that’s still not the excuse for where they are now. I could see if it was a year or two afterwards but five years later and this is all you have to show for? Supposedly if you give them a wink after your tour you can get your money back which I wanted to do but there was too many people around (assuming one was the owner) I would have felt bad. Guess we made a donation to help the cause.

Well worth the visit! Good guided tour and lots of info. The only one in the world, so see it if you are on the north end of the island.
