Owner description: A perennial Travelers' Choice Beaches winner, Grace Bay is famous for its long stretch of soft white sand and beautiful blue water.

Grace Bay is a huge bay in the shape of a horseshoe. On the outer side is a large reef (Bight reef) which keeps the bay calm and serene. The shallow water creates the beautiful blues and greens so typical of the Caribbean. The beach is 10 miles long and has two snorkel areas easily accessible if you have a car. It is walkable but it could be a long walk for those staying on the other side of the bay. Coral gardens is a National Park and also a resort area. Parking is available right outside the Coral garden Hotel parking lot and then it is an easy walk to the reef. The reef itself is a protected area cordoned off by an underwater path and a rope on top. You may not go inside the ropes but may swim the perimeter which is loaded with fish. Just down the beach is Smith reef which is much larger and more interesting for stronger swimmers. Coral is easy for all levels. Grace bay is rated as one of the best beaches in the world and I would not argue with that at all. Have fun and enjoy this spectacular wonder.

This beautifully turquoise water on sugary white sand makes you feel as if you have stepped onto a paradise setting. In December the temperature was perfect, with a 30% chance of rain everyday, you can expect it to rain for 5-10 once a day. My husband and I would step out to watch the sunset everyday we were there.

The place to stay in Providenciales is on Grace Bay. The water is amazing, and the beaches are wonderful

Great tour experience snorkeling off a catamaran to explore the third largest reef in the world. Located near Grace Bay, Turks and Caicos, the 4 hr tour includes supervised snorkeling, with fins and snorkel provided; a stop at "Iguana Island" to observe Iguanas in the wild; and a quick excursion around the area beaches. Drinks and a "Conch Salad" are provided. Captain Shaun is an entertaining tour guide. Learned a lot about local history and culture.

You can walk for hours along this beautiful stretch of white soft sand beach. The water is the most beautiful shade of blue/green and you can see down to the bottom just a few feet out past the surf.
