Owner description: A perennial Travelers' Choice Beaches winner, Grace Bay is famous for its long stretch of soft white sand and beautiful blue water.

How wonderful to spend a few hours on such pure, soft, clean sands with waters that have so many different shades of blue and green. Sun loungers are available for use from the resorts in Grace Bay to relax in the sun and have parasols that also offer some shade and protection. Drinking water and snacks can also be purchased as well. The beach is kept beautifully clean and there are beach patrols that often pass by on their buggys. The sand is incredibly fine and soft and such a pleasure to walk in. Plenty of watersports take place in the water and swimming there is wonderful. The water has a very high salt content and you can lay back and float in warmth of the sun, or swim out a little further in safe areas. The weather was so nice when I was there but the sun sets quite early so make the most of the afternoon. This is an experience not to be missed

My husband and I spent our 40th anniversary at the Ocean Club on Grace Bay, and in all our travels, this was one beach that is very high on our list. The sand is pure powder and the water is like swimming in velvet. I think in the week we were there, we spent more time in the water than we did on land. We hope to go back for our 45th anniversary.

Beach is unspoiled with white sand and turquoise water. Snorkeling the reefs everyday was amazing! Weather was fantastic except one day of rain.

We stayed at The Beach House, located on Grace Bay for almost a full week. I don't think we left this beach once! Most beautiful water I've seen!

If you seek a peaceful Caribbean retreat that allows you to never leave your resort and, in fact, discourages it, then this is definitely the place for you. There are no sidewalks or any semblance of a downtown area. Each hotel is a protected, gated enclave backing up to the beach (if you've spent enough). Engineered to provide azure blue waters with all traces of nature conveniently removed, the warm waters of this bay are quite seductive. You might think you're in an ashtray sand filled swimming pool or on any number of Caribbean islands. You'd never know because anything that would make it unique has been edited out. I'm probably more a fan of nature conservation and more authentic surroundings than those who frequent these beaches, but after swimming amongst the coral and sea grasses elsewhere on the island, stepping on sand without a single rock or shell was kind of nice. I'll admit it!
