We found this beach easily -
Turn on Chalk Sound Rd then take the first left onto a dirt road. Take the path next to the construction site to the beach. It had been pretty windy and rough on Grace Bay this week so we were pleasantly surprised to find very calm waters here. We went on a Saturday and there were only 2 other groups on the beach... It was very relaxing place to spend day, bring a float or frisbee as water is very shallow. Construction on one end of beach but not too loud.

Went to Sapodilla on 11/24/14 and it is just beautiful! Nestled around beautiful Mansions, vacation home rentals with sailboats swaying just out of shore. Water is clear, calm and warm. No shade, food or chairs so come prepared. I have found my happy place.

Sapodilla Bay was our favorite beach on Providenciales. It is a crescent shaped beach that is quiet and remote. The water is calm and beautifully blue. The beach is not very large - maybe a 1/4 mile long - and the beach area itself is 20-30 feet deep. But you really can't sun yourself very long in Providenciales, so you spend most of the time in the water which is clear blue and calm. The sand is soft and plush under your feet. It is not a great snorkel area, but there is the occasional fish that swims by.

There are not many people and not many boats that come and go, so it is a quiet and serene beach to spend the day.

Sapodilla Bay is a classic Caribbean cove lined with white sand and azure clear water. The bay is lined with private villas but it appeared no one is home, very quiet. The bay is calm and safe for swimming even on windy days. Make sure to hike up the hill where you park your car to see the old time carvings in the rocks from the early 1700, and to enjoy the nice view from up there. Sapodilla Bay is the opposite of Grace Bay, calm and quiet a nice change of pace. It feels more like a private beach. I would recommend everyone staying on the Island to take the drive and experience all this Island has to offer. Enjoy it!!

Sapodilla bay is almost completely encircled by development and will be shortly once construction is finished. There is virtually no space to drop your towel and soak up some rays. BUT it is a great place to lounge in the shallow waters, go for a swim, and relax during your island meanderings.

The villas along the beach looked like amazing places to rent/stay and we would certainly consider doing so during a return visit.

Finding the bay/beach is difficult as the maps provided generally don't have enough details to get you there. So my suggestion would be to ask at the Police Station if you've missed the turn-off (like we did).
