We had lunch here today. The server acted like we presented a great inconvenience to her. But, after waiting 45 minutes for bar food, it was actually pretty good. Also, the server kind of happied up and cracked a smile.

We landed at 8 PM and stumbled into Danny Buoys late Saturday night. What a delight. Good food, reasonable price, fun/friendly staff, usually live (and good) entertainment. Nice location right on Grace Bay Road in the village.

My husband and I went here twice during our stay in Provo, and both times, it was just ok. The jerked chicken and conch chowder were delicious, but everything else that we tried tasted like re-heated frozen food. Yes, they have numerous flat screen tv's around the place with sports on at all times. But we found a sports bar down the road with better food and didn't go back to Danny Buoy's.

We've been here before and this is a nice little sports bar which is a good place to have a casual lunch or watch a sporting event. We went for lunch, I have a jerk Chicken Wrap and my wife had a burger. The food was good, but like so many other place the service by the women is indifferent. It seems like they don't understand that the better the service, the better the tip. I usually tip 20%, but I usually get good service as well. Down here occasionally they put a 10% tip right on your bill even if you only have 4 in your party. For whatever reason (except for da Conch Shack) the service by the men is way better than what you get from the women? It has to be a culture thing in Provo, because we went to a lot of places (I did about 20 reviews) and the two times we were waited on by men, the service was better? I am not a male chauvinist and have never noticed it anywhere else we have travelled?

Had the double patty cheeseburger, it was ok. The fish tacos weren't very tasty without a lot of fish. Fish tacos at Hemingway's put Danny Buoy's to shame; no comparison. Server had a bad attitude and acted like we should have lucky to be there. Location is decent because is by the Saltmills shop but that's about it.
