“Capt. Bill and his Mates are #1”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

A memorable time was had by all who took the glowworm tour with Ocean Outback. Capt. Bill has so much experience, knowledge and humor, he made the 3 hr. tour go by so quick. His rum punch helped too...I wish we had time to do his Adventure Cruise, but we were leaving the next day. As far as we are concerned, Ocean Outback is the only way to go! You can tell that he LOVES what he does and truly cares about nature on land and sea....

“Loved it!!!”
Reviewed June 6, 2013

One of our greatest memories. Learned and experienced Pirates Cove, saw sea turtles, smoked at a smaller reef due to wind conditions, ate some of the best BBQ food at a remote and beautiful beach. The rum punch was fantastic along with beer, soda, and water! We had a group of 10 from 5-40ish and everyone had a great time. My husband will be forwarding his adoption papers to Capt Bill as soon as we return home. There is snorkeling gear provided if you don't have your own. You only need to bring plenty of sunscreen, a camera or 3, and an easy going attitude. Loved this tour.

“Snorkeling, Pirate's Hide Out & Paradise”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

Ok, Capt. Bill is kind of a grumpy old man, but in a funny and original way: he's certainly one-of-a-kind. The boat leaves from Sapodilla Bay and you literally just walk right through the clear water onto the boat. The boat has everything you would need for the trip including shaded & open-air seating and a bathroom too. While leaving Sapodilla Bay we saw lots of sea turtles on our way to the snorkeling point which is out in the ocean near a rock that's shaped like a sea turtle. Pretty cool setting and most people saw lots of fish, starfish, sea biscuits and squid. Next we moved on to the Pirate's Hide Out which is pretty neat. He explains why this was a good place for pirates to hang out/hide out and then rob from the Spanish ships. You can climb onto the giant split rock (recommend good shoes for this one) by walking across lots of uneven rock and then climbing straight up a homemade ladder (the rungs are very far apart which was hard for me since I'm 5'3, but I did it). Once you get on top you'll see lots of old pirate carvings and Capt. Bill will explain their significance. The view from on top is really great - nothing but ocean and uninhabitated beach as far as you could see. The last stop is a place Capt. Bill simply called Paradise. It's a secluded beach that is just wonderful. He gave us plenty of time at this beach while they cooked BBQ chicken and hot dogs. The cool island music added to the experience - it was truly a chill place to be and I don't know anyone on that trip that didn't love that beach experience. We didn't want to leave.

“Wonderful Sea Adventure”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

Our party of 4 had a fantastic day. Besides snorkeling, we anchored alongside an uninhabited island where we found over 20 starfish. The barbecue was great and Capt. Bill even accomodated our vegetarian (call ahead). Not only was he informative, but also very entertaining. Highly recommended trip...well worth the money.

“everything you want and more!”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

You have to take this tour. We did it on our 6th trip to Provo, and regret that we didn’t do it earlier. We are hard to please when it comes to the sea day trips (because we did so many of them), but this is a true gem.
This is the only one boat that goes from Sapodilla bay and takes you to the another side of the island. Everybody goes to Half Moon bay (which is amazing), but this is the only one that will show you turtles in Sapodilla, Split Rock, real Pirate’s cove, and you will enjoy Bonefish Point. Not only captain Bill is funny, like Boston funny, he is also so knowledgeable. There are plenty nice snorkeling trip and plenty boos cruses. This tours will have it all and more – a real excursion, with explanations, pictures, artifacts to a real pirate cove.
The trip was excellent! Thank you Captain Bill!
