We did the half-day snorkel trip and had a blast. Unlike Sun Charters, they actually responded to my pre-trip emails so I was able to reserve our spots before we went without having to make an international call (although I think they usually have enough space for you to book once you get there). We had initially reserved an afternoon trip, but they let us switch to a morning tour at the last minute, which was nice because it is cooler in the mornings.

The snorkeling at the first site was great because our captains threw some food in the water to attract fish, so we felt like we were swimming in an aquarium! The equipment was solid and made snorkeling a breeze. The conch hunting at the next spot was way more enjoyable than I was expecting because the fun of snorkeling was coupled with the challenge of finding a good conch that is the right size. Finally, the stop at the last beach was a lot of fun because they showed us how to "crack" a conch and made a delicious conch salad for us that was outstanding. At the end, everyone was dropped off at their resort. We would definitely do this trip again!

Yesterday we decided we wanted to do some snorkeling and look for sea shells. The concierge at our resort suggested this tour. $360 for the two of us was well worth it!

The guide was knowledgeable and fun. First they took us to dive for conch. We foynd loads of them...they then took us snorkeling in deeper water by the reef where aquatic wildlife was rampant. After we then went to a secluded beach and learned how to remove the conch from their shells. They made ceviche from the conchs and grilled fresh lobster.

After we went to Iguana Island and chased around iguanas.

Then we dove for sand dollars at another beach.

Then we snorkled around an old ship wreck.

After all this we finally came back home. it was delightful...however, if you're looking for a nice conch shell...just buy it at the local market. They're bigger, only $10 each and dont stink.

Looking for a great half-day snorkeling experience, this is it! Take the morning cruise (if you can get up!) and experience great snorkeling, funky alcoholic juice, and conch hunting/eating. We didn't actually eat the conch we found because I just think that's disturbing, but others seemed to enjoy it. Bring your lotion and blanket, b/c they do stop at a remote beach.

We booked the 1/2 day snorkeling excursion with Caicos Dreams after researching other similar tours on the island. This one hit all the high points of what we were looking for at a cost that was actually much less than at some of the other places we checked into.

Delroy and "Buff" were our guides and they were great...very funny and helpful. They played Bob Marley music the whole time and kept the rum punch coming, which made for a fun, party atmosphere.

First off on the trip we did snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef. After that, we headed to do some conch diving. We found tons of shells, but most were not big enough to keep. A few of us on the trip found some of the larger ones. After the diving, we went over to Iguana Island and hung out while the guys made fresh conch salad for us. We got to see the iguanas, too.

Overall, it was a great 1/2 day - I liked that we were able to get so much done in those 4 hours and still have the rest of our day to do other things. Highly recommend this tour and crew!

Awesome half day snorkeling trip!! My husband liked it so much he wanted to do it again during the same trip. We saw great things including a 4-5 foot Sting Ray while snorkeling! Fun captain and environment. Loved it!!!
