“Great atmosphere and service - but expensive”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2012

We really enjoyed our dinner here, the atmosphere was beautiful, nice lighting, and very romantic. The food was tasty. The portions were not large but they were enough to fill us up, however it was pricey (like many restaurants on the island, we found). I would have given 5 stars except for the prices being so high.

The service was excellent! Our waitress was so nice and quick to bring us everything. Our drinks from the bar were very good. Dessert was very good.

I was glad we tried it.

“Great Experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2012

What a cool setting. The food is great, especially if you enjoy lamb. We had the antipasto for an appetizer and stuffed peppers. Moussaka for an entree was great, and the lamb burger was flavorful. For dessert we had the Date phyllo which was excellent. Definately would go back if I visited the island.

“Exceptional ambiance, above average food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 17, 2012

I really wanted to give Lemon 5 stars. You walk into this beautifully lit, romantic indoor / outdoor area - the ambiance is really quite special. You can choose to sit under two big tents with ceiling fans, or completely outside. The whole space (cute and intimate) is lit up with candles and colorful lanterns. There are beautiful old trees amidst the tables that provide shade and a natural feel.

The food itself is slightly above average and, I hate to say it, overpriced. My cocktail (some sort of mango concoction) was very good. But the Greek "salad" I got as a starter was subpar - a plate of olives, cold roasted veggies, and 3 cubes of feta over some lettuce. Eh. We also got the hummus, which was oddly spiced (I know good hummus); the pita was warm and fresh though. The rest of the entrees were also unremarkable, but acceptable. I believe the stuffed chile relleno was the only thing we enjoyed. Dessert - the chile brownie was hard and cold, and the vanilla ice cream could have been Breyer's.

All in all, go once for the romantic ambiance and strong, well-made cocktails, but don't expect to be blown away by the food.

“Excellent food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 17, 2012

We had dinner here. The food and service was excellent. You can't find the usual fusion food (as in so many other restaurant on this island), but very nice Marrocan type cuisine.
