My wife and I recently returned from our Wedding in Turks and Caicos. We had an amazing trip and wedding. Joan and Clive handled the party after the ceremony and even assisted in the ceremony on the beach with some cocktails while the guests were waiting for the ceremony to begin.

We emailed back and forth for a couple of months with Joan and everything was put on paper and agreed upon. Joan organized every aspect of food, set-up, tents and drink and every thing she put on paper months ago was delivered exact.

We paid for the majority of the wedding and most things were paid up front. There were no hidden costs either at the end of the wedding. It was just straight forward and what we wanted.

Clive had a tasting with us prior to the wedding and the food he cooked for my wife and I was just as good as the food he cooked the night of the wedding for 60 people. We had almond crusted grouper, bbq ribs, mac and cheese, vegetables, salad, jerk chicken, plain grilled chicken and plenty of other sides. The food was awesome.

We really are an easy going couple and Joan locked everything in place and Clive delivered on the grill. We had some minor adjustments throughout the party and they adapted on the fly without issue.

The food was great. The booze was there and their staff did a great job as well....Better than what you would expect from "island service".... we did an open bar for the night and probably cost ourselves some extra money, but it was nice to not have to worry about anything.

The most important things were the best, service, food and level of comfort my bride and i had throughout our party with the two of them. the negatives were the total of taxes (41% total) and having to rent things like chairs, napkins etc. for the night.

We could not have been happier with our wedding and our guests are still talking about how good the food was. Joan and Clive are a great team and we are already talking about coming back and visiting the island again in the near future.

You can't go wrong trusting them with your event.

Our wedding, hosted at vacation villas but catered by Kissing Fish was amazing! The food, the set-up, the staff, everything! Joan and Mike were so helpful throughout the entire process, and we can't thank them enough for helping us put together the best day ever! All of our guests commented on how great the food tasted (the Mahi Mahi was the biggest hit!) and we really loved everything!

We walked from our resort (The Sands) almost every morning to this Bistro because we were always up early and it was one of the only ones open at 7am. We were VERY pleased that the food was good and the view was WONDERFUL!!

this restaurant is a short romantic walk from the Alexandra so try to time your walk to get there near sunset.
We didn't have or need reservations, and the waitress seated us at an outdoor table with beautiful views.
Both of the specials looked good, but based on our waitresses recs we went with the grouper which was very good.
The coffee rubbed tuna was mouth watering, one of the best I've ever had. the spring rolls app was also very good.
For dessert you can get ice cream our fav was the coconut. Also they might have a hot brownie with side ice cream so don't miss that.
One of the best meals on the island.
One tip: As you order dessert ask for the bill, that way you wont have to wait as long. But it is island time, so relax and enjoy the great meal and beautiful scenery.

We were unimpressed with the food at Bay Bisto. We went for dinner and sat with a beautiful view of the sunset, which was the only redeeming quality. We started with the conch crepes, which had a poor presentation - the ring of bright orange sauce around the plate looked gross. The taste of the crepe was bland and the crepe itself was poorly constructed and rather soggy. The mushroom sauce in the crepe tasted like bad cream of mushroom soup.

My boyfriend had the snapper with a shrimp skewer and I got the chicken dish. The chicken was very dry and wasn't flavorful. I think my boyfriend fared better with the snapper, but the presentation was odd. Both dishes came with mashed potatoes but I think they were made from a powdered mix - just unappetizing.

We both opted for some ice cream for dessert. The coconut flavor was the best.

The service during our meal was okay. The manager stopped by a couple of times to make sure everything was going well and to check on us but other than that, there isn't much to comment about.

Overall, I'd recommend skipping Bay Bistro as there are far better dining options on the island. The place has potential to be good since the location is convenient, but there is a lot of room for improvement.
