I'll try and keep this one short and sweet...

Recently visited Grand Turk as it's well known as one of the best dive locations in the Caribbean and went with Blue Water Divers as one of the best operators on the island, I certainly wasn't disappointed.

Just dropped in one morning as we were staying very near by at the Osprey Beach Hotel and Vicky sorted me out on a 2 tank dive with a couple of divers who were on the island from a cruise ship tour for the day.

First dive was at Anchor and the second was at Chief Ministers North. Both were fairly similar as they were both along the famous wall but perhaps the most dramatic of these was the second which was slightly more geographically interesting.

I understand that early December is off season so there weren't too many divers out with us, certainly a good thing. Coral was pretty great between about 10-20m depth, our dive maste Henry informed us that it's really taken a hold after a hurricane from a few years back apparently caused some damage. Not a great deal of sea life unfortunately with no Manta or Stingrays for us but perhaps the time of the year again...!?

All the staff are super friendly, laid back and knowledgeable with Mitch Rollins, the owner, being a local legend, having set up on the island in 1983, not to mention his musical background, keeping residents and guests alike entertained.

Would certainly recommend Blue Water Divers to any level of diver planning a trip to Grand Turk, you won't be disappointed!

Pete

I’m glad to hear you enjoyed your dives with us along the wall! We feel that maintaining a small group policy is a crucial aspect of delivering a truly personal experience to all of our divers, and so whether you come in our slow season or our busy season you will always be in a small group. Manta sightings are very rare here, but we do have large populations of stingrays. Thank you for all your feedback, and we hope you have a great holiday season!

We stopped here on a cruise ship stop on November 24th, 2014 and I wanted to find a non-cruise excursion with a smaller group; I was not disappointed. The staff was great and the DM was very good. The sea was choppy but we were able to drop in with no worries. The coral and reef were incredible, but unfortunately marine life sparse. This is well out of the control of the dive shop, so I still rated five stars due to experience and service from staff. Thanks for everything and looking forward to coming back to Grand Turk for more dives.

Thanks for taking the time to share you experience with us. We think that small groups make a big difference, which is why we make sure to limit the amount of people on the boat. I'm sorry to hear the marine life wasn't as abundant as you were looking for. We are usually quite blessed by the amount of marine life, and so hopefully there will be better luck next time! We look forward to seeing you the next time your ship is in port, and thanks again for the great review!

I took my 2 sons and a friend's son on a 2 tank dive over Thanksgiving. Grand Turk is an awesome place to dive with lots of sea life and reefs. We went out to the sea wall and swam along there for a bit, and our dive master, Trevor, was helpful in pointing things out and telling us what they were by writing it down for us. When we got back to the boat, he gave us more details about what we saw. He was very sociable, and we enjoyed his company. All around, it was a great experience. Thanks!

No visit to Grand Turk would be complete without a snorkel trip with Blue Water Divers. We were visiting via cruise ship, and as usual wanted to skip the big crowds associated with the cruise sponsored excursions. This was our fourth time with Blue Water, which is a reflection on how much we enjoy the service they offer. It is a quick taxi ride to their location, where we were greeted as old friends. Vicky and Audrey got us checked in quickly, and fitted out for the trip. It is a quick walk to where we hop on a boat and head out on the water. Trevor was fun as usual as our snorkel guide, and we were on our own at both of our stops - no one else was in sight. Perfect. Vicky arranged for a cab to pick us up, and we had plenty of time to hang at the beach near the cruise port before back on board time. So if you are looking to do some snorkeling or diving while visiting via cruise ship, do yourself a favor, and skip the ship excursion, and book with Blue Water Divers. You wont regret it!

Thanks for taking the time to share your fun experience with us. It always makes us feel really good to hear that people had a great time, but it makes us feel really REALLY good when they keep coming back like you do! It’s great to be able to catch up with people and see what they have been up to, and it’s always fun to knock out a few new dive sites or to try out some “oldies but goodies!” We feel very privileged to be able to be one of your go-to dive centers, and are glad to hear you have as much fun with us as we do with you! See you next time!

This was our first dive in the Caribbean and it did NOT disappoint!!! My desire was to see a turtle and my dreams came true!!!!! Vicki aka "Victoria" was very friendly and knowledgeable dive master. I am a fairly new diver and felt very comfortable in the water. She assured me and did not make me feel incompetent. Our captain was John and he was very nice as well. I highly recommend this company if you are looking to dive while in Turks. They went above and beyond to make our experience a great one!!!! Thanks guys! I hope to come back again real soon!!!!!!

We are so glad that you loved your first Caribbean dive, and hope that you plan on many more! Vicky can do a pretty good “turtle call” that yields excellent results! Let us know when you are coming back, so we can get your name down on a boat and get all the sea life in their proper places. Thanks for taking the time to let us know what a good time you had with our company!
