I'll try and keep this one short and sweet...
Recently visited Grand Turk as it's well known as one of the best dive locations in the Caribbean and went with Blue Water Divers as one of the best operators on the island, I certainly wasn't disappointed.
Just dropped in one morning as we were staying very near by at the Osprey Beach Hotel and Vicky sorted me out on a 2 tank dive with a couple of divers who were on the island from a cruise ship tour for the day.
First dive was at Anchor and the second was at Chief Ministers North. Both were fairly similar as they were both along the famous wall but perhaps the most dramatic of these was the second which was slightly more geographically interesting.
I understand that early December is off season so there weren't too many divers out with us, certainly a good thing. Coral was pretty great between about 10-20m depth, our dive maste Henry informed us that it's really taken a hold after a hurricane from a few years back apparently caused some damage. Not a great deal of sea life unfortunately with no Manta or Stingrays for us but perhaps the time of the year again...!?
All the staff are super friendly, laid back and knowledgeable with Mitch Rollins, the owner, being a local legend, having set up on the island in 1983, not to mention his musical background, keeping residents and guests alike entertained.
Would certainly recommend Blue Water Divers to any level of diver planning a trip to Grand Turk, you won't be disappointed!
