Usually I prefer to head away from the cruise ships doc, however, the beauty of these beaches kept me close by. They're perfectly located at the end of the pier, and the water is beautiful. As you walk off the pier, with the ships behind you, going to the beach on the right will guarantee loud music, crowds and a fresh water pool. It also has beautiful sand and it's a very gentle lovely walk in to the water.
The beach on the left is alot quieter, few less people and rockier. The water is just a beautfiul, however, it's harder to go walk into the water because of the large amount of coral, so bring your swim shoes. If you take the time to walk past all the beach chairs onto the more rugged area of the shore, you'll find many beautiful, empty conch shells littering the sand. Whichever direction you choose to go, you'll find beach chairs waiting and welcoming you to sit down, relax, enjoy the sway of the coconut trees and the sound of the waves as they hit the shore. I lovely port I hope to visit again soon!

Spent some time on the beach here during our Holland America cruise visit and before our Snuba experience. Very nice beach. A few shops. No charge for the beach chairs. Access to shore excursions. Minimal hassle from beach vendors. All in all, a great experience.

Spent time here on a cruise, very convenient, we were the only ship at the island plenty of chairs and shade. Had no trouble find a chair late in the afternoon. Margaritaville in very near this beach as are the cruise terminal shops. We liked this Island so much we have considered a week long stay in on the Island of Provo.

Hundreds of deck chairs were on the beach near the cruise ships. The beach is quite long; we walked away from the ships after lying on the deck chair.

Cruise center with shops were crowded, Kids were lining up for the artificial waves for surfing (?) at the corner of the swimming pool area. Outside we saw an open air museum/memorial; astronaut John Glenn's space capsule splashed into the waters near this island.
