...and what a beach it was!! We (my wife and I and our best friends) were so looking forward to Jack's Shack on our most recent cruise and we were not disappointed. We got there just before 9am as they were setting up for the day. One of the staff set up our 4 chairs and umbrella ($20) and the fun began!!! The water is so beautiful it seems unreal. The beach was clean and everything is so close to the port. We walked there and back with no problem. We ran a tab for the day enjoying the Turk's Head beer and some great rum drinks. We had Leroy's Jerk Chicken and Cracked Conch. The owners (Jack and Janet) were very friendly. Their dog Topher is a show unto himself :-) We left about 2pm to head back to the ship with the four of us raving about the amazing day we just spent on Grand Turk!!

For my husband and I, Jack's Shack was a huge disappointment. We didn't mind the walk to get there, but the service was very poor. None of the staff was the least bit friendly. The food and drinks were average, nothing more.

Visited April 2012....Strong drinks, friendly crab-digging dog named Topher, yummy food!! About a 1/2 mile North from the cruise pier, not as crowded as the area around Margaritaville.

This would be a regular hang out whenever visiting. Cold beer and friendly people! There were several locals that seem to think the same thing as it was apparent everyone knew each other.

Love the Food, Drinks, Pups, Donation options for the pups and others! Jack and his wife are so genuine. They are doing what they love, therefore they don't work a day in their life. All that go enjoy the rewards of their food and drinks! The pups play on the beach and love to swim with the customers. When I return to Grand Turk; I will Most Definitely return to visit with my new Friends t Jack's Shack!
