Encouraged by good reviews of this small pizzeria we paid it a visit on a wet evening in May. It did not disappoint. We live in Italy for the summer each year so appreciate good Italian cuisine. We shared a smoked salmon salad, then a capricciosa pizza, which was plenty for two, then popped next door to their cafe for a home made gelato and coffee. The pizza was one of the best we've had, thin crispy base and a generous succulent and flavoursome topping. The salad, pizza and two drinks came to TT dollars 215 and anothe 40 dollars for the two ice creams and a very good Illy espresso.
Service was very friendly and the place had a nice vibe, serving both locals and tourists. Scarborough isn't a pretty town, but it was nice to watch life go by from the open verandah seating. Would recommend Ciao as a break from the local cuisine.
